Chapter fifty seven

New years

Mason, Matt, Max went back home.
Tonks went home as well and Andi went with him. Pettigrew was still not here. The Potters came over. They brought some fireworks with them and pie.
Marlene and i decide to walk through the forest for a bit. Marlene wanted a midnight kiss, but mom doesn't know about us yet.

'You wanna go to the lake?' i asked her

'Sure.' Marlene said

We walked towards the lake.

'I do think it's sad that we won't be able to kiss tonight.' Marlene said

'I know love. But mom doesn't know yet. I'll tell her, just need some time.' i said

'I know.' she said in a sad tone

'Hey. Don't be sad. Maybe we won't be able to kiss this year. But we'll do it every other year for the rest of our lives.' i said

She had a big warm smile on her face.

'The rest of our lives? You think we're gonna be together for that long?' Marlene asked

'Well. I hope so. I don't plan on ever letting you go, you?' i asked

'No. Never.' she said taking my hand

'Alright then. Look i can't really see the future, so i don't know if we'll be together for the rest of our lives. But i know i love you and you know you love me. So we'll just be together and see what happens. But like i said. I'm not planning on letting you go or leaving you.' i said

'I'm not planning on leaving either. I love you and i do know you love me too. And you're right. We don't know what will happen. But we know we're together right now. And we know we love each other. So we'll just... Live in the moment.' Marlene said

'I love you too. And i love that. Living in the moment sounds perfect.' i said

I pressed my lips to hers and kissed her softly.

I really don't know what will happen. But i don't wanna think about the future. About us not being together... I love her so much. And i don't wanna lose her. I can't get enough of her. My love for her is so special. I think she might be my soulmate. Not that i believe in such thing. But if i did... I would say it is her. I truly hope we will stay together forever. I hope nothing and no one will ever come between us. I know we just started dating, but i really wanna be with her for the rest of my life.

Gosh. I can't get enough of her lips on mine. Her touch.

'Bloody hell... I love you so much.' i said

'You just said that a few minutes ago.' she said laughing a bit
'But, i love you too. More than you know.'

I rested my head on her shoulder and took her hand.

'Mason likes you. I mean so do the others. But Max liked you from school already, since you helped him with Dani. And Matt doesn't know we're dating. He doesn't know I'm dating anyone actually.' Marlene said

'Yeah. I like them too.' i said

'Did Mason give you his big brother speech?' Marlene asked laughing

'He did. And I'm expecting one from Matt and Mitchell too. After you tell them about me.' i said

'Mitchell knows about you. He just needs to meet you.' she said

I smiled.

'Sorry. They're just overprotective.' Marlene said

'They care about you. It's sweet. I know Sev and Reg would give you the same speech if they didn't know you already. Even tho Reg is younger.' i said
