Chapter forty eight

One week later

Katie

'Okay. See you guys later.' i said

'Have fun.' Reg said

Andi and i went to the forest. Marlene was already gone. She left like an hour ago. She's gonna wait for me outsides the hotel.

'This is the address. Be careful.' i said giving her a note with the address on it

'Thanks. And have fun.' she said

'I will. Meet you at the cabin tomorrow afternoon. And then we can come back to the school.' i said

'Okay. See you later. Love you.' she said

'You too.' i hugged her

I teleported myself to the sky resort.

'Hello love. Let's bring our bags inside.' i said

'Sure.' Marlene said

I took her hand and went up to the receptionist and took the key for our room and then went to our room and dropped the bags on the floor.

'So what do you wanna do first?' Marlene asked

'I've never been skiing before. Let's try it out.' i smirked

'Sure. But i have to warn you. I'm really good at skiing.' Marlene said

'Well you had time to practice. Besides, this isn't a competition.' i said

We changed into something more comfortable for skiing and went out.
Marlene tried to tell me how it works. Help me with it. I wasn't that great at it.

'I wanna go hiking. Come on.' i said

'Ugh. Fine.' she sighed

I took her hand and we started going up a mountain.

'Looks quite nice.' Marlene said

'It does.' i said taking her hand

We were Finally at the end of the mountain. Well as far as we could. We couldn't go any further. Too dangerous. There was a lake in the middle of the mountain.

'Wow.' Marlene said

'Yeah...' i said

'You do know we have to walk back down as well?' she asked

'Yes i do.' i laughed
'But we can stay here a bit. Enjoy the view. And the fresh air.'

Marlene sat down and drank some water. I sat down next to her.

'Here.' she said handing me the bottle of water

'Thanks.' i said and took a sip
'What do you wanna do next?'

'Ice skating. Still need to get back down the mountain first.' she said

'I can carry you if you want.' i joked

'I'm alright.' she laughed

'Okay. Let's go back down.' i said

I stood up and started walking back down.
Marlene threw a snowball at me.

'Oh, you gonna pay for that.' i smirked

She started running away from me and i ran after her. I stopped and threw a snowball at her and then started running after her again. She and i both started laughing. I caught her and we both fell to the ground in the snow. We started laughing again and just looked at each other. I got close to her and kissed her.
