MYSTERY #08: Door to the Past.

I gulped as I roam my eyes around. Still can't see a thing, my eyes isn't getting used to the darkness, means that this place is actually just a dark place. It's so weird, is this what blind people see? Now, I feel bad for them. But seriously, my heart won't stop beating so fast!

My hakujoudai's power is not working, so I can't emit a light from it or my kokujoudai. Which is really weird! Both my hakujoudai and kukojoudai are literally a ball of flames! So, where's the usual glow of my orbs!?

Anyways, why is this guy ahead of me? I should be the one in front because it's my kokujoudai we are following? But well never mind, let him do what he wants.

The small sounds that my kokujoudai makes as it move is enough for us to know where it is heading. Now that I can't see a thing, my sense of hearing is getting more sharp.

Hmm...

This place is so strange, I haven't seen anything---wait, yeah, it's because of the darkness. But except that, we haven't heard anything as well, we didn't bump into something or someone as well, there's no water on the ground so this is probably not a boundary. Just what the heck is this place? And why would Tsukasa-nii send us here? Come to think of it, if we are here, Amane-nii, Yashiro-san, and Kou-san should be here as well. However, we never found anyone, even just one of them. If they are all together, then it'd make me relieve, but what if one of them got separated? It'll be fine if it's my brother though.

"Having you behind me is not so reassuring," I look up in front of me when I heard the guy, who's been quiet since earlier, spoke. Wow, he's starting a conversation now? And in the most annoying way!

"I should be the one feeling that. This guardian here has no plans on harming the human, but the human is probably thinking how he'd exorcise me before the door appear," I clicked my tongue and roll my eyes.

"Wow...it's weird rolling my eyes in the dark,"

"Hah...you really are twins," That's a sigh of disbelief. How dare this guy.

"But, well, this place really is a good place for exorcising. If only my spiritual powers isn't getting disrupted by something here," So, he's really planning to exorcise me here! How ruthless! Heartless! Rude!

I wanna yell at him but I need to calm down.

"Tch. Why did I even bother to let you come with us, I should've just leave you there and go without saying anything, it's not like you'll notice because it's dark," I murmured. I heard him scoff and I sweaaaar, it's annoying!

"Even after I came back for you?"

"Yeah, probably because you're thinking of exorcising me before you get out of this place," I retorted, I heard him chuckled.

"You figured?" What the heck, that sounds so cold! Oh, I can actually just run away from him if he tried attacking me. He most likely won't notice me floating away because of the darkness, and there's no way he'd find me in this place without the help of my tsueshiro, hehe ~

It's true that he can't use his spiritual energy here, but his weapon is still an anti-supernatural sword. It'd probably be dangerous for me if it touches me, it's a good thing that he haven't think about that yet. Or maybe he knew, but not doing it---

Is he gonna kill me once we found the door!? So he can pass through it just by himself?!

"Hmph," that's the only thing I was able to say. Except the darkness, this guy is also making me scared. Amane-nii's also terrified of him, since he was driven into corner by this guy, and he almost got exorcised. So, this guy is more powerful than the sealed nii-chan!?
