Crime: Assault
Personality: Vivian is the kind of girl who screams of individuality. She's outspoken, defiant, and radiant—willing to blaze a path to what she believes in. She's passionate and yet also very centered. She's someone who is focused on what she believes is right, and ensuring justice is served. She's intelligent and clever, never one to shy away from expressing her intellect and using her head to work her way out of situations. Or to fix problems. Viv is known for her commitment, and when she makes a promise, she keeps it. However, she can come off as overly commanding and she certainly has a naturally snarky and sarcastic edge to her. Viv is also realistic, collected, and serious. She isn't the type to let all her cards be laid out and while she's a natural born leader, she hardly ever lacks an excellent poker face. However, under all her rough edges and her strong personality, she's exceptionally caring and devoted to those she cares about.
Backstory: Vivian grew up on the Ark. Life in space wasn't all bad, but it wasn't sufficient. Especially since the periodicity of having to cut corners to save the "greater good of humanity" seemed to become more frequent. Viv had always had a sort of defiant energy to her, and the day the council voted to randomly float Arkers, she couldn't take it. Especially when one of the randomly chosen citizens happened to be her father. A good man, a hardworking engineer, who was selected to be floated to conserve oxygen. Viv couldn't bear the injustice, and mainly the seemingly calloused perspectives of the council. So, she assaulted a council member and got herself locked up. Prior to her crime, her life was fairly normal, but she'd never been the type of person to follow the status quo. She'd do anything—terrible things even—for those she loved. And clearly, the council member she'd attacked would do well to remember that. But, after 4 months locked away, she was given a second chance: being sent to the ground.
