Occupation: Tattoo Artist
Personality: Jo isn't the easiest to describe with just one word. She's spunky and upbeat, someone most anyone would call fun or good company. She has a great sense of humor and isn't afraid to tease others openly—much to many people's dismay, perhaps. She's fairly honest and has a genuine, straight forward kind of attitude. In other words, she likes to keep it real; none of that fake shit. Jo can be known to be a little shamelessly flirty, and she definitely does her best to be charming. She's a bit of a social butterfly and so she thrives in such environments. She's a bit talkative and very passionate about things she likes. A bit excitable and perhaps just a bit flamboyant when the occasion calls for it. Jo does have a small temper if provoked and isn't afraid to speak her mind on the matter—best to avoid conflict with her, though, as she's known to be quite ruthless, not holding anything back. Despite everything, she prides herself in being at least a likable and decent human being. Everyone is certainly complex in their own right, and Jo is no different; though, this will do in summing her up for now.
Backstory: Josefina grew up in an average sized Hispanic-American household. She has two older brothers, Miguel (27) and Diego (24), as well as a younger sister, Esperanza (18). Her parents worked hard to provide for their children and their work ethic was passed down to each of the Hernandez children. Her childhood was happy and filled with fond memories regarding her siblings—though her older brothers did like to pull pranks. As they grew older, they still managed to remain fairly close, but life always has a way of making people drift apart ever so slightly. Jo was sixteen when she'd gotten her first tattoo, and she wished to become a tattoo artist too. Her creative outlet and artistic abilities could be utilized to create art on others' bodies. She got her first job at a tattoo parlor when she was seventeen and the rest is history. Since then, she's not only proven herself to be skilled, but has also gained more than a few tattoos over the years.
Thoughts on Selection: Jo is actually pretty excited! She's hoping good things will come out of this and perhaps she could find love. Worse case, she'll gain an unforgettable life experience and perhaps she'll come out having made a few friends, too.
