Personality: Shawn is nothing short of charming. He has this way of getting almost everyone to like him. Despite being a bit aloof from time to time, he's perceptive, persuasive, and almost perfect. There's a reason he's one of America's favorite stars! Shawn tends to be outgoing and generally amiable. He has a way with words, notably being both suave and convincing. However, there's a lot more to him than most people think. He's a bit of a dork deep down and finds dad jokes and bad puns to almost be the epitome of humor—as stupid as that sounds. He also does deal with some less than ideal self-image issues. In other words, he relies a lot on praise and respect from others because it's the only way he honestly feels validated—even if that seems a bit twisted. Shawn is surprisingly responsible, always doing what has to be done and never missing a beat in his responsibilities. Notably, he's also fairly punctual, never one to be late. The one thing he's looking for is happiness, really. He'd do anything to smile and enjoy his time. He pursued acting because it was his passion, something that made him happy. He's often referred to as being a slave to his passions, as he would often risk anything for a chance at everlasting happiness. Shawn is, more or less, a complicated star. He's got charm, charisma, and everything you can imagine—but he's also got his own quirks and flaws that he keeps hidden backstage, away from the limelight.

Backstory: Shawn grew up fairly well off, born to a fairly happy couple. He's the youngest of three, and never really felt connected to his older siblings. His older brother, Matthew (34) was too old to really play with his younger brother and his older sister, Jillian (31) was just too different. So, when Shawn was older, he found his place in theater and in acting. It gave him a sense of direction, a home, a passion to strive for. He also met a great community of people and they became some of the people he was closest with growing up. Of course he couldn't say he really had much to complain about financially, but he did always feel his accomplishments would be overshadowed by the accomplishments of his older siblings. He grew up always trying to prove himself and stand out amongst his family. So much so his drive for accomplishment overlapped with his means to be happy. Now, of course, he's successful as can be and finally feels he's earning the recognition he's been working towards for so long—and, notably, feels it's the recognition he deserves.
