Crime: Stole medical supplies
Personality: Brenner is the kind of guy that everyone likes and gets along with. He's charismatic and cheeky, with a goofy disposition and an optimistic outlook. He's outgoing and friendly and the type of person to try and make you feel included. While he's usually pretty adventurous, he can be exceptionally calm when the situation calls for it. He's usually good as reading situations. Brenner is also known for being exceptionally trustworthy. He's the kind of guy you want by your side, someone who's reliable and won't forsake you. He's known for his compassionate nature and his agreeableness, too. He can also be a bit witty, loving to joke around and often make light of heavy situations in order to lighten the mood. He's passionate in what he does, too. In short, Brenner truly has a good heart, and sometimes it would seem that he's too pure to be existing in such a cruel world.
Backstory: Brenner grew up in one of the poorer sectors of the Ark. It's not that he had a terrible life, because surely he shouldn't complain. But when it was evident resources were beginning to dwindle, his sector was hit hardest. As a kid, he never fully understood why things happened, only that there wasn't much he could do to change it. That was his general mindset growing up. But, as he came of age, he began to wonder if maybe he could change the circumstances. Especially when his mother got sick. While it might sound a little cliché, Brenner was ultimately arrested for being caught stealing medical supplies. He had had every intent of seeing his mother well again. Was that really too hard to ask? He's been locked up since he was sixteen. And, to rub salt in the wound, his mother was floated on his seventeenth birthday, seen as a burden and unable to be cured of her ailment, and therefore sacrificed to conserve space and resources. Brenner has a hard time forgiving the council for their lack of compassion.
