Her phone vibrated, and Armineh was surprised to see message notifications from Yahya Firas. The words 'Lower the blinds' flashed on the screen, followed by 'I'll see you for lunch.'

Looking up from her phone, Armineh found him already watching her. She flashed a mischievous grin and pressed the buttons to lower the blinds.

Pen grasped tightly in hand, Yahya Firas couldn't tear his eyes away from her, his gaze locked onto the spot where she disappeared behind the blinds.

Half an hour later, Yahya Firas returned to her office, just as he had in the morning."Assalamualaikum," He greeted, his fingers gently tugging at his tie as he approached her, his gaze never leaving hers.

"Walaikum Assalam," Armineh replied, momentarily taken aback by the sight of him undoing the top two buttons of his shirt. She watched, captivated as he strolled around her desk, his movements slow and deliberate.

Armineh pushed her chair back slightly to get a better look at him. Leaning casually against her desk, his ankles crossed and hands clasped in his lap, Yahya Firas was a picture of desire with his open shirt and loosened tie.

"Tell Seline not to disturb you," Yahya Firas instructed, his gaze locked onto her. A rush of color darkened her cheeks.

"Why?" Armineh inquired, her voice soft and her curiosity piqued.

"We have something important to discuss," he replied, his voice low. Armineh couldn't help but notice the way his eyes lingered on her lips, a silent invitation, perhaps.

Armineh picked up the receiver and dialled Seline's extension, all the while aware of Yahya Firas's intense gaze on her.

"So, what's so important?" Armineh looked up at him, her eyes filled with anticipation.

He took her hand in his and gently tugged, urging her to stand as he used his other hand to lower the collar of his shirt, revealing his neck—exposing the marks on his neck, which his brothers had teasingly called 'mosquito' bites.

Armineh licked her lips at the sight of his muscles, taut and inviting.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Yahya Firas asked, his voice carrying a husky undertone that sent shivers down her spine.

"What happened?" Armineh stepped closer to him to examine the enticing bruises. Her fingers gently traced the marks on his skin, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake.

Yahya Firas chuckled softly as his hand settled on her waist, pulling her even closer.

"What happened? You did this," he said, narrowing his eyes at her, a playful glint dancing in them.

"I did?" Laughter bubbled in her throat and Armineh brought her hand to her mouth to hide her growing smile, a devilish glint in her eyes. "Let me see."

Armineh cupped his cheek in her palm, her lips seeking the arch of his neck.

"Hmm, I think I did," she murmured, her voice filled with a hint of mischief. Yahya Firas closed his eyes as he felt the first warm press of her lips against his flesh, his grip on her waist tightened instinctively.

"I didn't mean to," she muttered, feigning innocence. She kissed him, feeling his racing pulse beneath her lips, pressing open-mouthed kisses along the sensitive skin of his neck. The sensation of her lips on his skin, set his senses on fire.

"Maybe I should return the favor," he whispered, dipping his head to the curve of her neck, his hand gently caressing the nape of her neck.

Armineh let out a soft chuckle but her laughter quickly faded when he pressed his lips to the line of her jaw, their desire smoldering between them. Yahya Firas held her tightly against himself, unable to let go.

"We are at work," she gently reminded him, her fingers deftly buttoning his shirt and adjusting his tie. The reality of their surroundings crept back in. The lowered blinds and the presence of Yahya Firas in her office, twice in one day, were bound to fuel office gossip.

"Lunch?" he inquired, trying to regain his composure though the heat still simmered in his eyes.

Armineh agreed, taking a deep breath to steady herself.

He straightened his attire, feeling the tightness of his pants, and gently pressed a kiss to her forehead.

"I doubt we'll have lunch if I stay here a second longer."

A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips when Armineh gasped in surprise.

"I'll be waiting outside," he said, his hands flexing by his side, clearly yearning to reach for her once more. However, he wisely decided to leave before he did something else.
