'Ma'am, your flights have been arranged.' Armineh's secretary said as she entered into her office, holding an iPad in her hands.

'What flights?' She mumbled, without looking up at her secretary as she continued to scribble in her diary.

'Srilanka and Saudia Arabia. You have a three-day conference to attend with SPIC and then, meeting with Petrocep's Todd Henderson, later in the week.'

'When am I leaving?'

'Tonight at 11.' Saline told her, her eyes skimming over the screen.

'It's today? Really? What's the date?' Armineh asked as she put her pen in her notebook and rubbed her face, tiredly. It was only afternoon and her shoulders were already cramped from sitting. One would think you'd get used to just sitting for long periods but no, not Armineh.

'Yes.'Saline nodded, empathetically,' It's 11th March, Ma'am.'Thank God, she had already told Ammi even before when the plan was finalized, she only hoped baba would tell her, too.

'Who else is going?'

'Mr. Sherazi, Miss Lennox, Miss Hubert, Mr. Brennar, Mr. Nawaz, Mr. Coleman, Mr. West, and Mr. Raza.'

'Mr. Raza? Which one?' Armineh's forehead creased, there were four of them currently working in the office, one of them her husband. Armineh shook her head, she didn't even know why she asked.

'CIO, Amaan Raza.' Saline pulled her lips inside her mouth to keep the smile off her face at her boss's question, disappointed that she'd be dashing Armineh's hopes. Of course, everybody in the office knew that Armineh was Mrs. Yahya Firas Raza and ex-wife of Mr. Ardashir Hassan Omer of XXX.

'Right, Thankyou.' For good measure, Armineh asked,'And are you sure you aren't forgetting anything, Saline?'

'I took the liberty of informing your driver, Safiullah, ma'am and he'd be out front by 9:30 pm.' Saline added after thoughtful consideration.

Saline flushed pink as Armineh's lips quirked in a grateful smile.

Armineh closed her notebook as her eyes drifted to the date on the calendar when Saline left her office.

11th March.

She shut her eyes, tight.

Today, marked their fourth anniversary or first, Armineh didn't know any better because nothing had really changed apart from a few words being exchanged, occasionally or living under the same roof. She clamped her fingers together and rested her chin on them.

Lunch? Dinner?

She wondered if he'd go with her for a friendly lunch or dinner if she asked him out. She dismissed the distracting thoughts, she needed to go over the presentations, first.
