Harry clung to his broom convulsively as he flew through the storm. Cheers to Hermione and her practical spells. as a result, at least his clothes were not soaked in water and his goggles stayed dry. Otherwise he would have had to conjure up windshield wipers.
For what felt like a hundredth time since the beginning of this game, he cursed the director. why had he agreed that they would go up against each other in this weather? The Hufflepuff Seeker looked far from happy, too.
But the worst was probably Oliver's stupid speeches he had been making since the beginning of the year. well, it was his senior year here at school and he wanted the trophy. But the team understood after the first address. Harry would rather dance a tango with a Dementor than listen again to how important this stupid lump of metal is to their house.
THERE! Harry saw it flash gold. immediately he leaned further over his nimbus and shot toward the glow. Beside him he could see the badger's seeker. What was his name? Oh yes, Cedric.
"If that's just another wind-blown glitter mistake then I'll hit anyone." Harry yelled.
Cedric grinned and nodded in agreement.
And the hunt went on.

Harry followed the glowing ball, which he could now finally recognize as such, steeply upwards. Below he could hear the loud cheering of the students. Cedric was very close behind him, he had the same model of broom.
then the Gryffindor grabbed the golden ball. Now there was even louder cheers and applause.
Oliver turned some somersaults for joy and almost got hit by a Bludger.
cedric stopped in the air next to Harry and watched the goings-on.
“And we still have a few games ahead of us. He pretends we already have the trophy, ”muttered the green-eyed man.
The boy next to him laughed.
“Leave him, it was a good game. You won fair and honest. "
Both shook hands over the brooms.
Harry was about to say something when he noticed something disturbing. He could see his breath.
"Tell me, has it suddenly got colder?" The badger wanted to know.
Harry could feel it too, but there was something else. His eyes widened in panic when he recognized the creatures.
"Dementors!" He roared.
the person opposite only threw a brief look back.
"Shit, get out of here." Immediately both boys straightened their brooms downstairs. But by then it was already too late.
The beasts grouped greedily around Harry.
apparently Cedric wasn't that appetizing, he escaped.
The next moment Harry had to hear his parents screaming again. Again images appeared before him. he quickly grabbed his wand and pulled out a nice memory. The one where Luna, Neville, and he had been sitting under Snape's robes. That was nice and safe. From the top of his staff came his very special patronus. then it turned black.

Severus sat in the teacher's box, cursing. He hated this game and even more when it was played in this kind of weather. well, he wanted to win the trophy too, but only to annoy his colleagues and not because the thing really meant something to him.
Four times it had already looked as if one of the two seekers had got hold of the Snitch. but each time it was only one of those glittery creatures. The little creatures were happy to be plucked from the air, but that also meant the game went on. Why couldn't the old man put an end to this misery? the children all just got pneumonia. And who was allowed to brew the potions? Of course he did. Damn shit.
At least the other teachers seemed to be in a bad mood too. lupine had bored his hands, which kept forming claws, into the seat. Minerva did the same with her looks. Only her destination wasn't the seat but the back of Dumbleodre's head. It should slowly go up in flames. then at least they would have a nice campfire.
Only Sirius, who sat next to him as a dog, seemed to be having fun. He barked and howled enthusiastically again and again when Harry showed one of his tricks again. on the other hand, his heart almost stopped every time. Crazy kid, he should get house arrest for that.
The students also seemed to like it. Stupid pack.

finally, the Gryffindor had made it after all and grabbed the ball. Then they could finally get back into the warmth.
What Severus saw next almost made his blood run cold. Dementors, at least a hundred. where did these beasts come from? They had no business being on the site.
He and some of his colleagues quickly grabbed their wands and summoned their silver guardians to scare away this uninvited crowd. his doe ran the things over in rows.
Severus looked around wildly at his problem child. The boy hung high above the field on the broom and let go of his strange deer-dog. The Potions Master was just about to breathe a sigh of relief when he saw the boy slip off the nimbus.
His colleagues were too busy keeping the dementors away from the students so that no one saw the fall. severus jerked up his staff.
"Levicorpus," he roared. This would at least slow down the fall a lot. However, the boy was still falling far too quickly. That would hurt.
The teacher ran quickly to the field, exactly to the place where the child had come down. The boy's broom had been blown somewhere in the wind, but Severus didn't care. He looked around frantically at the boy. when he discovered him the man had to smile.
Harry had changed shape again, but the little sand cat still had the snitch in its mouth. The cat held him by a wing.
"You can let go of him, you won." Of course, Severus knew that Harry certainly didn't realize he was still holding the thing in his mouth, but he wanted the child's attention. And it worked. Harry looked at him with big green eyes. Then he let go of the ball and tried to climb up his teacher's robe.
He sighed and picked up the cat.
"Come on, let's get you dry. Which cat likes to get wet? especially your kind. "
Beside him he heard a loud whimper.
"Hey Blacky. You can come with me, but just be quiet, nobody should recognize you yet. "
With that the man walked towards the castle. but he made sure that no one saw what or who he was carrying. He didn't want the boy to be registered as an Animagus.
