Y/n POV
I was in the office typing up an assignment for class as I sigh clicking on the mouse to add the my work/info into the lines. As I type my I wonder of the time yesterday here in this very office. It was interesting how Nick just grabbed my hand, how we were so close. And I wasn't thinking about this in a way...but I was thinking about cause I had never thought of it like that.
N: Y/n
I hear making me look up I see Nick entering the door
Y/n: Hey Nick, what's up
I ask as he nods fast waking towards me
N: I have to submit something before your Uncle Smith comes home and asks for it
He says as I nod
Y/n: Sure I guess
I answer getting off the seat as he sits down, he logins and submits the file we then hear the door slam and my Uncle yelling I didn't know if it was on the phone or to someone in the house.
Uncle: Nick I know your here come out
He calls as we look at one another
N: Ohh shi-
He gets off the seat and we walk over seeing how he was waiting
Uncle: There you are, there you are I've been waiting for so long and I haven't received the file
He says angry and furious as I bite my lip
N: Yeah sorry I just sent it
He says as Uncle Smith shakes his head
Uncle: See that's the laziness I need you to avoid
He becomes to yell as Nick shake his head
Y/n: But-
Uncle: And you don't even get me started, don't try acting his side I know you were partly one of the reasons why he was late posting this
He says as I sigh annoyed
Uncle: Anyways
He says walking out of the house as I turn around and look at Nick, I was upset I didn't even do anything but I become the reason
N: H-
He was about to say as I give him an expressionless look walking away for him

It had been a couple of hours and I was feeling a little better I was currently scrolling through my phone walking towards my room
N: Hey Y/n
I hear Nick's voice coming from the gym room upstairs, I stop in my tracks and glance over to see him sitting in the exercise chair, he signals me inside as I walk in
Y/n: What
I ask simply as he smiles lightly
N: Look I just wanted to apologize about before and what happened
He says as I sigh then nod
Y/n: It's fine
I answer lightly, he then grabs my hand pulling me closer which makes me smile I wasn't really thinking
N: I didn't mean for you to be yelled at when it wasn't even your fault
He says looking right into my eyes
Y/n: Thats okay, I mean they always do that when they have no one blame
I say as he looks into my eyes so sincerely that I could just melt, my heart does a little thing, like a little boom boom, he brings his hands over to my face grabbing a side as he pushes the hair back
N: I wouldn't blame you
He says making me smile but at the same rise my eyebrow at what he means with that statement
Y/n: Mhm thanks I guess
I answer as he nods smiling
N: You have really gorgeous eyes
He says looking right at them and for some reason I feel myself blush, what is going on I mean in all this time I have known this man I have never felt this way, the way I am feeling right now and I don't even know how explain it.
Y/n: I-
I legit think of what to say because I had no words to comprehend, one of his hands rests on the side of my face
N: I-
He begins to say as I hear footsteps getting closer as I take a step back from Nick and look at one another then the door opens
Z: Hey Y/n I was looking all over for you
I hear Zion say as I turn around looking at him
Y/n: Yeah I was just talking to Nick
I answer as he nods walking into the gym room
Z: Ok, hey dude
Zion says as Nick greets back
N: Hey
He simply answers but I could tell he was annoyed
Y/n: So what was it that you wanted
I say as he smiles grabbing my hand
Z: Actually I got that pizza you love from that place you love
He says as I nod smiling widely
Y/n: Really alright great! I'm on my way down you can go
I say as he squeezes my hand lightly smiling as he walks away I glance over at Nick
Y/n: I should go
I say as he lightly nods
N: Yeah sure
He seemed a little disappointed for some reason
Y/n: Maybe you should join
I say as he refuses first
N: Nah I should just stay up here
He offers as I sigh
Y/n: I think you should join.
I say as he raises his brow
N: I can come I guess
He answers as I nod walking
