Y/n POV
I had no work to do so I was slightly bored. After fascinating about Brandon and the kiss I then decide I should maybe hangout with Lelia. I walk out of my room and go towards Leila. She sees me from her room as she smiles signalling me inside.
L: Hey Girl
She says as I smile lightly
Y/n: Hey, so what were you up too
I ask as she puts her clothes that she was folding into the closet, she then walks out looking at me
L: Oh nothing just some work, so what about you
She asks as I lightly shrug sitting on the chair on her room
Y/n: Nothing I didn't have any work to do so I thought I might well I should hang out
I say as she chuckles and I do the same
L: So what is going on between you and Brandon
She asks as I look at her
Y/n: What?
I ask as she gives me the really look
L: I saw you kissing him, what happened, what about to Nick
She says as I sigh
L: Well I know what happened but are you just trying to move on
She asks as I shake my head
Y/n: Brandon has been very nice, kind and by my side. We kissed and it felt good.
I answer as she nods
L: What about Nick?
She asks as I sigh biting my lip
Y/n: Leila he, we were just friends and I was like a rebound he loves Emma
I explain as she nods
L: And did he tell you he loves her
She says as I shake my head, he didn't but aren't they together
Y/n: No, but he's with her they kissed and its complicated, Brandon is sweet and I- he really cares about me
I say as she nods sweetly
L: Look I'm not saying that you can't be with him but I was kind of rooting for you and Nick. You guys are just so perfect together and the chemistry shit. I know what he did was wrong but what if he comes back around. What if he's puzzled
She says as I nod lightly sighing as we continue to talk

I walk down the stairs thinking about everything Leila said, I sigh the hearing mumbling of frustration coming from the office. I walk closer as I see Nick, I watch as he seemed frustrated I bit my lip from the corner contemplating whether or not I should inside but I start walking away
N: You know you can come inside, I'm not going to bite you
He says as I grit my teeth stopping in my tracks, I sigh and then walk inside the office as he looks at me, his eyes lightly roaming around but then instantly going back up to my eyes as I stand a couple steps away well close to the door. I wonder what to do as I bite my lip lightly. But then again I think of what Lelia said and I try to look past what happened and at least be able to tolerate them together. Because he has accepted to be with her especially with her and her baby. I guess that's what love is and what hurts it I loved him too, but I couldn't tell him.
Y/n: What's the matter
I ask as he glances up looking at me it was an interesting feeling
N: Well your Dad asked me to work from home and I have to make this contract and I have no clue really how to make it so it looks good when you and I-
That word just feels odd to hear you and I, ugh it hurts at times
N: So when you and I would work together all the work put be on point and now I'm left by myself and don't know what to do
He says as I nod simply looking at him get frustrated. I then sigh walking closer, I grab a chair from the side and sit next to him well with some space. I could feel his cologne traveling to my nose and making me reminisce the time I- ok okay I have to stop. I move a strand of my hair as I glance at him and he was already looking me. I look away
Y/n: So first your going to open the docs and pick the contract template and add the info you want remember keep it concise clean and use information that the other party can feel supported and and asset by.
I explain as he nods looking at me he lightly smiles as he does what I explained I watch then read it over
Y/n: Ok that's good
I say getting off the chair as I feel him grab my wrist I immediately glance at him
Y/n: What are you doing?
I ask as he gets off the chair as looks me right into my eyes
N: You, well we haven't talked ever since that day in the office last month and we haven't even said two words to me let alone looked at me. I'm seeing you kissing Brandon and I'm lost I don't know what's going on
He states as I sigh
Y/n: What do you want me to say Nick, I told you how I felt that day and now I'm moving on I'm better why do you care if I kiss someone else, your the one that left me remember
I say as he sighs and nods
N: I didn't leave you I just didn't know what I was doing
He explains as I chuckle
Y/n: Yeah and what do you expect, you want me to sit here waiting for you to make up your mind. I didn't intend to feel what I did and I'm- I'm trying to move on and that way I'm avoiding you so why can't you just deal with it Nick
I say as I look down then back up
N: That was a first time in a long time
He says as I look at him brushes my fingers through my hair
Y/n: What?
I question
N: Thats the first time you said my name in a while
He says as I sigh shaking my head as I begin walking away
