Y/n POV
I walk inside the house as I see Emma sitting on the couch, I immediately stop in my tracks as I gulp and breath a little heavy. What's she doing back I thought she moved to somewhere in the world with her new boyfriend.
She then glances at me getting of the couch as I walk closer seeing her parents and mine sitting on the couch with her brother, and my siblings and sister-in-law. What's going on.
E: Y/n I missed you so much
She says immediately giving me a huge hug, at first I wonder what she's doing then lightly hug her back still very confused as to what happened and why she was here
Y/n: Emma, what are you doing back
I say in the nicest tone possible as she sighs
E: Liam dumped me, when he-
She stops looking down then back up
E: Anyways I wasn't cut out to be a part of agency anyone
She says as I nod simply.....great
E: SO, you know where Nick is?
She asks as I glance at her then at Lelia shakes her head annoyed
Y/n: Actually-
E: Actually I was asking your Dad told me you two have been working together for the contract
He says as I agree
Y/n: yeah we have
I answer biting my lip slightly
E: I bet he misses me so much
I itch the side of my neck as she glances me
E: Whats that?
She asks as I raise my eyebrow
Y/n: What?
I reply looking down at my neck...shit a hickey
Y/n: Oh I don't know probably a burn from the curling iron

I was in the office fixing my file cabinet when I see the sliding open, I knew it was Nick I see him walking closer from his side eye. He then wraps his arms around my waist kissing my neck immediately making me lose it.
N: Good morning babe
He says as I can't help but smile, he continues kissing as I bite my lip
N: Ugh, I want you all time
He says into my ear, but for some reason I was trying to resit. I mean he doesn't even know Emma is back. And I don't even know he'll react to it.
N: What...no morning kisses, or love
He says as I feel so bad so I turn around and look at him as he smiles
N: Theres my girl
He says as I melt he instantly leans in kissing as I bite his lip pulling away
Y/n: Morning
I say as we smile but then I look down knowing I have to tell him
N: Looks like your feeling so so, what's up
He says grabbing a side of my face as I bite my lip
Y/n: Emma is back
I say as he immediately raises his eyebrow
N: What Emma?
He says I nod
Y/n: Yeah yesterday when I got home she was there and she's been acting so strange
I say as he nods sighing lightly
N: And did she ask about me?
He says as I nod also looking for how he reacts but for far he didn't seemed pleases about the matter. He then glances at me
N: Well whatever I don't care about her, she's the one that left me, broke up with me I'm over her
He says as I nod, he seemed a little stressed, that's when I hear a little nod on the door and it opens and not to just anyone but Emma herself. I move to the side as she looks at us
E: Y/n here you are
She says then turning her head to see Nick, she smiles looking at him I glance at the two as they look at one another
E: Nick what are you doing here?
She says with a simple emotion
N: I work here Emma and I should be the one asking you this
He says a little rudely but I assume he pissed with her cause she left him with a note that she was seeing someone else and he was hurt, I know. I gulp lightly watching the two lightly
E: I cam back Liam broke me and I-
She says stopping again, she did that yesterday too
N: Either way I don't care
He says walking out as she was about to call him but he doesn't listen. She then glances at me sighing lightly
E: So you and Nick? Whats going on there
She says as I act like I don't know what she's talking about
Y/n: What....were co-workers and friends
I mean I wasn't lying, we work together and were friends with other things but not labelled I don't even know what we are other than the fact that I'm starting to feel something I don't think I should. Not because I'm afraid he doesn't feel the same or just because I'm falling without a safety net and I'm scared to get hurt. I've just never felt this way before and its the feelings I can't ignore.
E: Mhm anyways...my Dad said I should have a change in environment so I thought I should hang with you. But if your busy we can meet later
I smile lightly, I have always had an interesting relationship with Emma. We've had are ups and downs because were two tally different people and sometimes I just don't wanna deal with her attention seeking self. Cause when Emma's in the room its all about her all the time and for the first time I feel like a guy sees me not my cousin.
Y/n: I don't mind you joining me but I have some work to complete
I say as he nods and then huffs
