Y/n POV
I was in my office working on the next presentation, I press print on the document needed to highlight for this contract. I then walk over to the printer right outside, as I tap on the machine waiting for the pages to print out. I sigh as I bite my lip thinking about what I saw yesterday.
I mean after that I didn't even wanna talk to anyone I literally had an emotional breakdown. Crying for about a couple of hours, then relaxing and knowing it was fine but then thinking about my feelings and having this sharp pain of of feelings after what I saw.
I then grab the paper sighing as I walk back, as I get the office door of my room opening the door when I hear Nick's voice from a distance getting closer. I then walk in my glance peaking for my door out, he comes to my view stopping in front of my brother and friend Tina
N: Hey guys have you seen Y/n
He asks as I gulp, I mean of course he was going to ask about me I have been ignoring all his calls, texts and everything about him since the kiss. He was so into it, he wanted it he wanted her.
T: She's here in her office
She says as he glances over at my office we make eye contact, it pained me so much....but shit he saw me. He immediately begins walking my way I immediately close the door and locking it right when he gets at it
N: Y/n please open the door
He says against the door I ear it putting my head next it seeing his silhouette through the translucent glass door
N: Please
He says as I feel tears well in my eyes, I then see him wait, moving to his office as I remember the door in between, he runs as I do the same and I lock it.
N: Why are you doing this to me
He says as I shake my head, and what about what he did to me
Y/n: I-
I was about to talk but decide not to knowing I have a lot to say and if I do it'll end up in tears and heartbreak
N: If this is about Emma and what happened I can explain
He says as I feel water form in my eyes, feeling heart break, I fell without a safety net and now I have to collect the pieces. I then hear the phone ring I walk towards it picking it up.

I get home walking out of the car as my brother follows in
M: Hey Leila made dinner
He says as I nod smiling, I walk up the stairs getting to room thinking about what happened, I then open the door to see Nick sitting on the bed/couch
Y/n: Jeez Nick what are you doing here?
I say placing my hand on my chest as he gets up looking at me as I do the same, I place my phone to the side from pocket and my bag
N: You wouldn't talk to me at work, let alone look at me so I left before you did and got here. Leila let me in
He says as I just look at him trying to control my emotions...can't break...can't break
N: Why don't you talk about me
He asks as I shrug simply
Y/n: I don't wanna talk
I say as he nods walking closer
N: Look what happened I know you saw, I mean that's why you've been acting like this and I know I can't justify it
He states I don't even know if I can tell if he feels guilty
Y/n: I don't know what you want me to say
I answer simply
N: Can you forgive me
He says as I blankly look at him
Y/n: And then do what, what are you going to do clearly you were into it and your having a child...you know?
I says as he looks at silently I assume wondering what to say
Y/n: And we were nothing, we were just two people well friends, and I bet you were just waiting for her to come back and now that she's here you can have her
I say as we look at one another, then I lightly cross my arms biting my lip looking to the other side as I could feel his eyes on me
Y/n: You know maybe you should go
I say as he looks at me all over coming back into my eyes. He walks closer
N: We have something....I wasn't thinking but she just came to me and I couldn't deny what I had with her and what she's having, I can't deny it
He says as I nod and sigh feeling tears in my eyes, he begins to walks when I turn around
Y/n: Um- before you go can I ask you something
I say as he turns around glancing at me
N: Yeah
He answers as I nod
Y/n: Did you, this is such a stupid question but did you feel anything special in that moment
I ask as he looks into my eyes, he was about to say something but I lightly raise my finger
Y/n: Please be honest
I say as he nods
N: Yes, I did I can't lie but I'm flustered I don't know what I want
He says as I sigh feeling the pain of his words coming into my ears as they travel to my heart
Y/n: Thanks
I answer lightly controlling my tears I could feel my voice cracking, he opens the door as I see Emma she glances at us then slightly steps closer
E: So here you two are
She says as I gulp looking at her and clenching my jaw
E: Nick I was calling you
She answers as he doesn't reply
E: And you, what do you think you can take my man and he'd wanna be yours. You were just a rebound and pebble that he was using until I got back. He never stopped loving me
She says as I look at the two, you know what this isn't worth it
Y/n: He's all yours
I say as I grab my phone and walk out of the room
