Y/n POV
It's been a couple of weeks well particularly since the whole diabolical and honestly I feel much better I'm focusing on school helping out my Dad's company from home and trying to avoid Nick and Emma in the house whenever there around which is a lot.
Brandon and I have been hanging out way more than before and he's super sweet and caring. I was currently in the kitchen mixing something for my salad, I start adding the dressing as I feel come stand next to me and it wasn't just anybody it was Nick. I could smell him a mile away
N: Hey
He says as I keep my straight
Y/n: Hi
I answer lightly
N: How are you
He asks as I gulp, it took me so long to be okay with just talking to him
Y/n: Good, you?
Ok this was basic manners I needed to be nice at least and plus it been basically a month and I'm over it
N: Good, we miss you at work
He says as I glance at him our eyes meeting after so long
Y/n: Really....well I don't really care
I answer oh and here the wittiness
N: Um so can we talk about what happened
He says as I shake my head
Y/n: No I'm sorry we can't cause the last time I did I have a emotional breakdown and I don't want to bring those feelings back
I say as he looks dissatisfied
N: What...and it was because of me
He asks as I nod lightly
Y/n: Yup prettymuch
I say as he sighs
N: Never in a million years would I think of hurting you
He says as I move back slightly and he notices, I then see Emma make back
Y/n: I'm going to go
I say walking away towards the pantry
E: HEY BABE
She projects as I gulp moving into the pantry, I grab what I need about to walk out as I see them close she brushes her fingers through his hair. He looked a little bothered but unfazed, I then see her leaning closer as their lips almost touch, I immediately move fisting my hand. Thats when I hear the doorbell, I was about to go when I hear Emma walk towards the door
B: Hi-
Brandon says smiling
E: Ugh whatever
She says as she closes the door on him, ugh she has no manners or human etiquette. I walk out of the pantry and glance at her
Y/n: What the fuc* is your problem
I say as he chuckles and shrugs, I then walk towards the door opening it
Y/n: Brandon I'm sorry about her
I say as he shakes his head and walk inside. We get to the staircase seeing Emma wrapped around Nick but he was looking at Brandon and I I then walk up the stairs and we get to my room.
B: Does she do that on purpose or is she really like that
Brandon asks as I chuckle knowing he was talking about Emma
Y/n: Yeah and being pregnant is making her more antsy
I say as he immediately raises his eyebrow
B: What?
He questions as I nod
Y/n: Yeah
I answer as we both sit on the bed
B: With Nick?
He asks as I shake my head
Y/n: Yes her other boyfriend Liam left her when he found out cause art first she didn't know. Then she came back get a test and found out it was Nick, but she told Nick he knows
I answer as he looks fascinated
B: Anyways....what were you up too
He says as I smile
Y/n: Schoolwork then I was making a salad
I answer as he nods
B: My family was thinking of going to San Francisco for the week
He says as I nod
Y/n: Really that's fun
I answer as he raises his eyebrow
B: Aren't you going to miss me?
He asks I shrug chuckling he moves closer
Y/n: No not really
I say as he shakes his head as he starts tickling, he knows I'm ticklish
B: So your really not going to miss me
He says as I try to control my laughter but keep laughing
Y/n: Yeah, yeah I will
I say laughing as I feel this arms wrap around he stops as we look into one another eyes a little seriously he moves my hair to the side but then we laugh again
Y/n: Of course I'll miss you who am I supposed to hangout with
I say as he smiles and I do the same
B: Then maybe I won't go
He says close to my ear
