CHAPTER TWELVE

~~~~~
Lucas's POV
I'm excited.
I'm nervous.
I'm anxious.
I am finally admitting it, the sexy bachelor of the country is anxious that his fiancé is coming to dinner with her family. I am watching from the window in the kitchen, where you can see people coming in, but they cannot see you.
"Bro, take a chill pill. There is still half an hour to 7. She is not going to cancel on you. Go to your room for a while."
"No Linc, I'll stay here. I want to greet them when they come."
"You are going to greet them in your boxers, that too with stars on them? How elegant and manly of you?" He raised his eyebrow and looked at me in amusement.
Even the thought of Andrea is driving me crazy. I completely forgot to dress. I sighed and walked to my room to change.
After finally getting ready in a T-shirt and jeans with a blazer on top, I was about to go back to the kitchen window, when I bumped into Echo. She was dressed like we had a ball at home and was bouncing eagerly.
"What's got you so hyper?"
"After twenty-three years of endless torture suffered by me at the hands of my evil brothers, I am finally going to get a sister." More like she tortured me for twenty-three years.
" I'm so excited to have a female in the family except for Mom. Someone who will understand the need for shopping. Now you and Linky Boy cannot gang up on me." She waggled her eyebrows at me and did some sort of weird dance. Before I could reply to her, she was skipping to the main hall. Looks like someone is more excited than me about this dinner.
That reminds me. I have a surprise for her family. Hope it turns out good. I did not know what the outcome would be-it could be fabulous or it could be disastrous.
I was still quite nervous. Wait, Lucas Rivera does not get nervous, he makes others nervous. Stay confident, Luc, stay confident.
By the time I managed to convince myself, the doorbell rang. I walked to the door to greet them. When I opened the door, I was speechless. Andrea was looking like a princess, no, a queen. She looked like a diva in her white and grey dress which reached till her knees. And seeing the engagement band on her gave me immense satisfaction. I barely managed to greet her parents. My mom was also there, greeting the Mathews and inviting them in.
