Kuku❤- family reunion

Part 16- pleasant presence

After an hour or so of the drive, Mishku falls asleep. Kuhu falls asleep watching the kids sleep and Mishti falls asleep looking outside

Kunal was admiring Kuhu. Abir was driving peacefully, suddenly he looks beside to Mishti sleeping in cold. Kunal also observes how Kuhu is drenched and cold.

Both the brothers take their jackets hanging on the seat back covers their respective ex-wives (Amisha had throws)

Kunal sees how Kuhu's expressions from being cold to soothe changes and it gives him satisfaction seeing Kuhu sleeping in peace. Suddenly Kuhu feels warmth she was seeking since Kunal left her. After 5 years she felt so loved (in a way different than sisterly and massi-bhanji love). After 5 years she slept so calmly.

In the morning 

Mishku woke up as the sudden stop

Kuhu half awake: I am awake

Mishti half asleep: Misha, Kuhu late ho gayee

Abir and Kunal smile

Mishku fully gaining awareness realizes where they are . Mishti wakes up lifting Abir's jacket. They make a deep eye contact (dheere dheere se plays)

Listening to movement, Kuhu also wakes and finds Kunal's jacket shielding her from the harsh cold. MIshku felt the warmth of their respective exes presence. They never forgot the warmth of their hug and the feel of their touch

Kuhu suddenly realizes a hand supporting her neck and protecting her against the hard and stiff headrest. The seat headrest was broken by Amish which exposed the metal bar inside. Kunal had been seating in a an uncomfortable seat to make sure it didn't hurt Kuhu 🥺. Kuhu suddenly jerked to free Kunl from the weight and the pain. Her heart melted looking at Kunal caring for her, anyone caring for her. She had been the shield of the family and never showed her pain but today after long 5 years someone had protected her. 

Kuhu's old painful memory acted as a barrier against the warmth and love. To avoid the suffering she avoided the eye contact and turned around to find Mishti and Abir in a deep eye contact ( they are parked in front of a dhaba(roadside restaurant), don't worry all safety road measures were taken while driving😉) 

Kuhu almost shouting : MISHTI MISHTI 

Amisha waking up : KYA HUA!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Kuhu : Sorry #oops 

Kuhu angrily moves closer to the front of the car and starts waving her hand in middle of Mishbir 

Kuhu eyeballs Mishti: MISHTI come out, I need to talk to you. 

As Mishku leave the car

Kuhu: what was that?

Mishti: what was what?

Kuhu huffs: Mishti, you are making this harder for yourself

Mishti: making harder what?

Kuhu shouts: MISHTI tht eye lock-

Mishti quiets her down: shh, someone will hear you she says pointing inside the car.

Kuhu looks at car, her expression change confusion: there is no one here?

She says showing Mishti how the car was empty

Mishti: where did they all go?

Misha screams from the back: we are here, come on, lets eat 

They both went to eat inside the restaurant along with others. 

Mishti unknowingly sits beside Abir, Kuhu sees that, she pulls her chair an drags it in middle of them. Squishing in middle Kuhu sits in the little space in middle of Mishbir

Kuhu: excuse me!

Kunal whispers: she doesn't let us get close neither does she let anyone else get close

Kuhu: you said something? 

Kunal: nothing. shall we order?

Kuhu ignoring calls the waiter.

All of them order. Boys had parathas and Girls had chole bhature 🤤. They all had their food and starts leaving for the journey. Each payed for their own meals as both insisted on them paying. 

 In the car 

After few miles

Amish: I am getting bored. Tell me another story 

Misha: yh  tell us a story pls

Amisha: PLs pls pls

Kunal: no!

Kunal remembers how Kuhu dropped the bomb yesterday

Kunal thinks: don't know what dangerous dialogue, she will say now.

Rest of the trip was quite. It went Amisha chatting, Mishku admiring the scenery and AbKun admiring them

Misha: massi, what places will we go to visit?

Mishti: Misha, don't get your hopes high, Kuhu is going there for job

Kuhu: It is ok Mishti, I can always find time for Mishu

Kunal smiled

They all reach the destination

Mishti: rn't you the incharge

Kuhu: yh but there is an another in- charge from the branch of Rajkot

They arrived

Kuhu looks around

Kuhu getting out of the car: the Rajkot in charge should be here

Then a person calls them from back

Rajkot head: Kunal?
