The twinges of pain that Hazel felt when she moved were annoying. She licked her dry, chapped lips and stared at her bedroom ceiling. Hazel knew she couldn't move without some serious pain, but she called out. "Crowley?" Her voice was cracked and dry.
In seconds, she heard thumping footsteps on the floor. Crowley rushed into the room so fast, Hazel flinched.
"Oh my baby. " Crowley whispered. His hand came out and touched her cheek. A small smile appeared on her face.
Crowley took his hands and touched his fingertips to her head. Absorbing her pain, his eyes flickered to black for a second. Hazel groaned at the stress release.

She sat up and wrapped her arms around him. He hugged her and rained kisses on her face. He ran his hands over her hair and whispered in her ear, "I love you. Will you marry me?"
"Crowley, I think we both know that answer."
