Later.
The Avengers mingle at the party.
....
Rhodey, Thor and Tony.
"Well, you know, the suit can take the weight, right? So I take the tank, fly it right up to the General's palace, drop it at his feet, I'm like, Boom! You looking for this?" Rhodey asks
Stark and Thor just look at him blankly. "Boom! Are you looking... Why do I even talk to you guys? Everywhere else that story kills." Rhodey says
"That's the whole story?" Thor ask "Yeah, it's a War Machine story." Rhodey says
"Well, it's very good then. [he laughs] It's impressive." Thor says "Quality save. So, no Strange? He's not coming?" Rhodey ask
"No." Tony says
"Hey, what about Bruce? Where are the dates, gentlemen?" Hill ask "Well, Strange is a neurosurgeon, you know world renowned." Tony says, smirking.
"Yes, well I'm pretty sure that Bruce created a new species with all of his PhDs. His work on Veronica insures that this planet is safe from Hulk." Thor says
"And the surgeries Strange does, saved dozens of lives and he's very sought out after. It's pretty exciting." Tony says
"There's even talk of Bruce getting a... um, uh... Nobel prize." Thor says
"Yeah, they...they must be busy because they'd hate missing you guys get together." Vanya says, walking up behind the boys.
The two turn and their eyes widen. "Wow, Vanya, you look incredible." Thor says, puffing up his chest.
"Thanks Thor, you don't look so bad yourself." Vanya says, smirking.
"Your staring Stark." Rhodey whispers
Tony rolls his eyes. "I'm in a committed relationship with Strange, I'm just looking." Tony says, smirking.
"And Stark, Bruce is here. Where's Strange." Thor asks, turning his attention back on Tony.
Tony rolls his eyes. "He'll make it, he's a very busy man." Tony says
Maria rolls her eyes and she mock coughs. "Testosterone! Oh, excuse me." Hill says
The four of them turn to Maria.
"Want a lozenge?" Rhodey ask "Um-hmm." Hill says "Let's go." Rhodey says
Maria and Rhodes walks off. "But Bruce's better." Thor says

With Sam and Steve.
"Sounds like a hell of a fight, sorry I missed it." Sam says
"If I had known it was going to be a firefight I absolutely would have called you." Steve says
"No, I'm not actually sorry. I'm just trying to sound tough. I'm very happy chasing cold leads on our missing persons case. Avenging is your world. Your world is crazy." Sam Wilson says
"Be it ever so humble." Steve says "You find a place in Brooklyn yet?" Sam Wilson ask "I don't think I can afford a place in Brooklyn." Steve says
"Well, home is home, you know?" Sam Wilson ask.

Rhodes is telling the same story he told Stark and Thor to a group of women at the party.
"I fly it right up to the General's palace, I drop it at his feet, I'm like, Boom! You looking for this?" Rhodey says
The group laughs.

Steve, Vanya and Thor are talking to an elderly man at the party.
"I gotta have some of that!" A party guest says "Oh, no, no, no. See this, this was aged for a thousand years, in the barrels built from the wreck of Brunhilde's fleet, it's not meant for mortal men." Thor says
Thor pours the drink into three glasses and hands one to Steve and another to Vanya, who eyes the drink.
"Neither was Omaha Beach, blondie. Stop trying to scare us. Come on." Stan Lee says "Alright." Thor says
Thor pours some of the drink into the Stan Lee's glass.

Later.
Stan, looking extremely drunk is being carried off by two men.
"Excelsior." Stan Lee sings.

Natasha is pouring a drink behind the bar when Banner walks up to her.
"How did a nice girl like you wind up working in a dump like this?" Banner ask "Fella done me wrong." Natasha jokes
Bruce smiles. "You got a lousy taste in men, kid." Banner says
"He's not so bad. Well, he has a temper. Deep down he's all fluff. Fact is, he's not like anybody I've ever known. All my friends are fighters. And here comes this guy, spends his life avoiding the fight because he knows he'll win." Natasha says
"Sounds amazing." Banner says "He's also a huge dork." Natasha says
Banner looks chuckles. "Chicks dig that. So what do you think should I fight this, or run with it?" Natasha ask
"I'm a taken man, sorry doll." Bruce teases "really doll?" Natasha asks, amused.
"Heard Vanya use it on a girl down at the lobby, it seemed to work." Bruce says "my sisters a flirt, she's never serious." Natasha says, chuckling.
"So what did your fella do that was so wrong to you?" Banner ask
"Not a damn thing. But never say never." Natasha says, her eyes finding Steve's chatting form, Bruce notices her gaze and he smiles, looking down. Natasha walks away.
"It's nice." Steve says, coming up behind Bruce, his eyes filled with a hint of jealousy.
"What is?" Banner ask "You and Romanoff." Steve says "No, we haven't. That wasn't..." Banner says, trying to reassure the soldier.
"It's okay. Nobody's breaking any by-laws. It's just, she's not the most... open person in the world. But with you she seems very relaxed." Steve says
"No, Natasha, she's a friend and me And Thor, well we're exclusive." Banner says "that's good, I'm happy for you two." Steve says
"Thanks, you know she likes you." Bruce says "who?" Steve asks "Nat, she's not the most obvious person but, I like to think I can read her." Bruce says
"I think the only person who can read Nat is Vanya, but it's a nice thought. Me and Nat." Steve says
Bruce smiles. "Don't wait to long, she's definitely worth it." Bruce says "yeah." Steve mumbles
