I think I might have a heart attack (Deathnote FanFic)

I strided towards headquarters grinning, impressed with what I had achieved over the past few weeks when I had barely been able to contact Ł and the others because of Light's presence.

Today Ł was letting Light be free to go out in public if he wants, but he must have someone accompanying him at all times, today it was Matsuda. While they were out hanging with some of Light's University friends, I could come back to headquarters and discuss my plan wíth Ł.

I entered headquarters, punching the code into the lock before waiting for the satisfying "ϲӀíϲƘ" that told you that it was open.

My footsteps echoed across the large, shiny room as I made my way towards the evevator and punched in the numbers for the highest level where the task force would be.

I felt a little disappointed that Matsuda wouldn't be there, he really seemed to brighten up the investigation with that cheery smile that he always wore. Without him I found the investigation far to serious for my liking.

"Dɨռɢ" the elevator came to a halt at the highest level of the building. I stepped out and slowly made my way towards Ł and the others who were busily typing away at the computers.

"Morning,"
I greeted them warmly.

"Good morning Mirai, have done any planning on how to corner Light yet?"
Ł asked me.

"Yep,"
I said, handing him my notebook.

"Thank you,"
He said as he began to read it carefully.

I had written it all out again, neatly, just the other day so that I could give it to Ł as my final copy. If course he would alter it make it-

"Amazing,"
Ł muttered under his breath.

"What?"
I asked, unsure of whether or not I had heard properly.

Ł pulled put a pen and scribbled something at the bottom of the riddle, it read;

"What's that supposed to mean?"
I asked, confused.

"Turn it upside down."

I did so.

"Oh, I see,"
"Yes, it translates to bring your notebook in English. Even if someone watching the broadcast could read it, only Kira would know what it means."

I nodded slowly, this would defiantly prove to Light that I had a Deathnote.

I looked at the riddle again, next to it Ł had written what each line meant;

-Even if it's hard and they must work a lot

-he must become the god of the new world like he has repeatedly said

-they will rule the new world

-with the power that a god would have

-The world will know about Kira, honoring him as god

-Kira must start to prepare the new world

-at a place where there are many seeds stored, eg.warehouse where they store apple tree seeds

-Mirai Road (Mirai means future)

-they will kill all criminals, even if they will no longer be able to go to heaven or hell,

-in the morning when there aren't many people up yet, probably around 3:30am - 5am in the morning

-Kira will team up to plan how to kill Ł

-they will spend all their time doing this

-until they have their new world

-they will strive to keep that way
