so my dad is getting remarried next week

it's just like he's completely forgotten that my mum ever existed
he's been a dick to me for most of my life but suddenly now he's got a new girl he wants me to come to the wedding and be a part of his life again

but isn't it a good thing that he's finally moving on?
I mean wasn't the whole reason he changed was because of your mum passing away?

yeah but he shouldn't need a new woman in his life to suddenly want to speak to me again
he doesn't actually want to be a good dad
he just wants me there so he can show his new "wife" that he's a "good father"

he's been in a bad place for most of his life because of what happened when you were born, that was the reason he wasn't as good of a father as he could've been
but now he's found someone who makes him happy again and he wants you to be a part of that

I just feel like if you're there I'll be less likely to do something stupid
I wasn't even gonna go originally but Taehyung says if I don't then he'll send me a picture of his ass every day for the next month
and I'm not putting myself through that
