UNTOLD MARRIAGE ; sunghoon

CHAPTER 6

"Sunghoon, who is Mrs. Park? "

The ravenette froze upon hearing the question that the other asked. He stood motionless, hands gripping the phone in his hand as a warning alarm played inside his head.

He bit his lips then smiled, shrugging his shoulder. He should act calm if he doesn't want to be caught. "Mom, why? " He answered whilst avoiding the other's eyes.

"You sure? " Jake asked raising his brows to the younger, clearly not buying what the latter had answered.

Sunghoon hummed, still trying to be calm. Rian's and his career will be at risk if any of the members found out about his marital status. It's not that he doesn't trust them or whatever, he just doesn't want to risk it. Especially that Rian is still a rookie and also in a dating ban.

Jake slowly nodded, eyes only focused to the younger. "But your 'mom' told me about your parents having dinner in your house later." He said, emphasizing the 'mom'.

Sunghoon's eyes widened in shock as he was really taken aback, he thought that the older just look at his contacts. His expression changed into confusion.

Did Rian text him?

Meanwhile, Jake must have sense the confusion on the younger as he shoved his hand in the pocket of his jeans before speaking, "She called. "

Silence then filled the room.

The older took a step forward. "Sunghoon, who is she? Because I'm sure she is not your mom."

If there is a member that knew how to hold secrets, that would be Jake. But even so, Sunghoon still did not want to risk it.

And now, he is growing annoyed to the other even though he didn't know what Jake is thinking or what he already knew. He's just annoyed that the older has an idea because of his recklessness.

What if the media found it out? Will they accept it?

Sunghoon doesn't want the situation to reach where he needed to choose between his wife and his career. No, he doesn't want it. His fans, his career and his dream are so important to him, and so is his wife.

"Sunghoon." Jake called him when he didn't utter a reply. Sunghoon poked the inside of his cheek, a habit when he's clearly annoyed. Though, the action goes unnoticed by the older. "I know it's not my business but yo-"

"Clearly, Jake." Sunghoon interrupted with an annoyed tone. He knows he's now being disrespectful to the other despite Jake being just a month older than him but Sunghoon didn't care at the moment. "It is not your business, it is mine. And I would really appreciate it if you stay away from it. "

Sunghoon did not wait for the other's reply as he immediately left the room. He walked towards the parking lot and to his car then drove off.

He just hope Jake won't say a word to any of the members and to the management because once the management found out, they will immediately contact Rian's agency and inform them about their relationship. Or worst, they will release it to public.

Sunghoon fished out his phone and immediately dialed Rian's number, eyes fixated to the road. He turned on the side, towards the direction of their house.

After a few rings, the other line picked it up, though it was silent that Sunghoon thought no one was in the other line, not until he started it.

"Rian? Baby? "

A sound of heavy sigh immediately heard from the other line.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Sunghoon. I didn't know that you weren't the one who answered the phone-I'm so stupid. I still called you even after knowing that you have a busy schedule. I should've just sent a message and not call-"

His wife rumbled causing the male idol  to smile despite the thought of Jake, telling the others about it, circulating his mind.

"Hey, hey, you're not stupid. You didn't know and that is okay. I already handled it."

Sunghoon just hopes Jake would stay quiet about it.

"Thank God, I was so anxious! " The other exclaimed.

"Anyway, I'm on my way to our house. Are you there or you're still at work? I can fetch you." He says, slowing down the road.

"Still at work. I'm sorry, we're still practicing and we'll have a meeting after. I'll just take a cab."

"You sure? " The ravenette asked in which the other answered with a humm.

"Anyway, I called earlier to tell you about our parents having dinner in our house. I told them that we're busy but they're persistent."

"It's okay, I'll just cook. Besides, our schedule for today is finished so I have nothing to do. "

Sunghoon parked the car outside the house and immediately got out as he entered their home.

"Hmm. I need to go. I love you."

He smiled. "I love you more, take care. "

Rian, once again, hummed and bid him goodbye before ending the call. Sunghoon placed his bag on the long couch before walking towards the kitchen, checking what he can cook for the dinner.

Rian arrived at their house first than their parents. She checked the kitchen and sees the table's already set. A smile formed her lips as she made her way towards their room.

She opened the door only to see Sunghoon drying his hair whilst checking his phone.

"You're here? " The man asked, moving his gaze to his wife who just entered the room. He walked towards her and gave him a kiss on the crown of her head. Rian hummed.

"Mom said they're on their way. " The ravenette added when the other took the towel from his hand and made him sit on the bed as she continued drying the man's hair.

Sunghoon instantly wrapped his arms around his wife's slim waist.

She hummed from what the man had said as her eyes focused on his raven hair. "Your hair is getting longer." She commented upon noticing his hair is indeed getting longer.

Engenes wanted him to have a long hair so he didn't mind not asking the stylist to cut his hair.

"You don't like it? " He asked, pulling his other hand from her waist to touch a few strands of his hair.

Rian shook her head. "No." She answered causing the man to let out an 'o' sound.

If Rian didn't like it, then he'll ask the stylist to trim his hair. It isn't really necessary for him to let his hair grow as he was okay with either long or short. He just want to be the most handsome in the eyes of his wife.

"Because I love it. " The other added, interrupting his thoughts. The latter smiled as he hugged Rian's waist tighter and pulled her impossibly closer to him, to the point where the other is now straddling his lap.

"Whatever style you do, I will always love it because you're my man, my husband." The girl stated, hands now stopped drying the his hair as they are now wrapped around his neck.

Sunghoon smiled and slowly leaned in and kissed her forehead before he buried his head at the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent.

He leaned back after a while and pecked her lips. He pecked it once again and again, causing Rian to chuckle. He smiled and leaned forward to capture her lips. This time, it wasn't a peck as it lingers there for quite a few seconds. When there is no protest at all, Sunghoon began moving his lips against hers which Rian immediately responded.

And at that moment, no one is existing in their mind, only them. That's why they didn't notice the people peeking through the door with wide smile on their lips.
