Part 9

Shannon's POV:
I woke up to a knock on my door I opened it and to my surprise it was Elijah. I was hoping it would be kol. "Elijah what's wrong" I asked as he paced up and down my room.
"I kissed her..." he replied
"What's your point" i yawned
"I- kissed her Shannon..."
" I heard you Elijah" He looked confused
"Shannon I KISSED HER..."
"Elijah you have done more than kiss her" I winked and he tried to act stern but couldn't help smile
"Yes but after yesterday I still kissed her"
"Oh that's what you meant" I was still yawning
"Your not helping" he laughed but I could tell he was still hurting from yesterday
"Do you still love her?"
He looked at me and knew I knew the answer
"What do you think" he responded playfully
"Answer the question"
"Yes."
I knew but I wanted you to hear yourself admit it" He looked at me in awe and finally left my room.

Elijah's POV:
I walked downstairs and saw klaus and abbey setting up the compound
"What's all this niklaus?"
"Ah Elijah finally, me and abbey are throwing a party"
"And the occasion?"
"How about you still breathing" klaus laughed hard along with abbey
"Right, I'll go tell Hayley"
I walk to her room and knock on the door
"Hayley it's Elijah can I come in"
"Yeah it's open"
"How you feeling" I asked while looking at her face to try read her emotions
"As good as I can be" she replied
"Niklaus and Abbey are throwing a party tonight I thought I would tell you"
"Finally an excuse to get wasted" she laughed
"Yes well I'll see you tonight"
"Elijah wait" I stopped and turned back around
"Could I stay with you tonight please?, me, bourbon and emotions don't mix well"
" of course I'll see you later" I left and hoped she didn't see the smile that grew on my face when she asked.

*At the party*

Elijah's POV:

"Brother can you please get her down" klaus asked me. Hayley was dancing on the table with a random man.
"Niklaus why she's enjoying herself for once"
"It's her third bottle and..."
"And what? Niklaus?" I could see a devilish smile on his face which meant what he was going to say I wouldn't like.
"And I'm pretty sure you don't want her to be with that bloke tonight brother..." I looked at him then back at Hayley and the man I went to answer but was Interrupted
"These compound walls are pretty thin you know" he grinned
"Enough niklaus I'll get Hayley to bed"
I went to go get Hayley and then turned back to tease him.
"And I know just how thin these walls are" I looked at him and Abbey and grinned. I walked over to Hayley who asked me to join her on the table.
"Elijah join me"
"No Hayley I think we have had enough, Niklaus is getting rather annoying"
She looked at me and grinned
"fine, I'm coming with you anyways"
We walk upstairs and into my room.

"Hayley... you have sick down your dress" I laughed
"Oh I need a shower" she moaned
"Do you mind?" She asked then motioned to my bathroom
"Oh no you go ahead I'll be with the others I'll be back once your done"
"No..." she said and I looked at her confused "stay" she mumbled.
"Fine, I'll be in here" She made her way into the bathroom and I sat on the end of the bed.
"OUCH" I hear her cry from the bathroom so I run as fast as I could into the room.
"Hayley are you okay?"
"Yes I just can't take my shirt off" she laughed.
"Could you"
"Hayley I don't think that's smart" I smiled as I said it trying to hide it
"Oh come on Elijah you've seen much more than my underwear" I thought to myself, fair enough. She looked at me as I pulled her shirt from over her head and placed it on the laundry basket. I went to leave until she pulled me closer to her. She looked at me and placed her hand on my face before kissing me. I could taste the bourbon on her lips. Neither of us pulled away and after a few minutes we were in my bed. We both pulled away to take a breath and she looked me in the eye before looking back at my lips.
"I've been waiting for this all week" she laughed, I knew she only admitted it because she was drunk. She pulled the sheet over us and one thing led to another and...

Klaus POV:

"3,2,1, GO" I said to Abbey as we was having a shot contest. We decided to join in with all the younger kids because it was funny watching them loose. I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn around to see the cause of all my problems lately.
"What do you want" I looked at him waiting for a response
"Um could I speak to Hayley" he asked I went to respond and was cut of by Abbey
"She's with Elijah" she told him
"Oh well it will only take a minute" he muttered
"Oh no , was I not clear enough, my apologies wolf boy... She's... with Elijah" she said as she winked at him whilst biting on a cherry. He looked at her and me and i continued to tease him.
"Oh no luv, it appears you made him cry again" I chuckled
"Now get out before she does it again" I say as i motion him outside. As I walk outside still laughing at Jackson I spot a familiar, yet unfamiliar face.
"Brother?" I ask looking at the body kol had took over
"I want to speak to her" he mumbled
"She's in her room" I said but carried on
"My advise brother when it comes to Shannon she's family so if she asks me to make you leave I have no choice" I said whilst patting him on the back
"Good luck" abbey whispered in his ear as he walked by.
