Part 12

Shannon's POV:

I wake up to the sound of kol singing in the shower. I open my eyes properly and place my glasses on my face and then walk over to the bathroom door.
"And there's no stopping us right NOWWWW I feel so close To you RIGHT NOWW" kol sang as he was bopping his head.
"You alright there" I laughed as he lifted his head and realised I heard him
"Oh please don't tell anyone I sang in the shower" he pleaded. I look up at him and burst out laughing and pull my phone out of my pocket and show him a video I took of him singing.
"You didn't..." he laughs
"Oh but I did"
"You little..." he runs towards me and I run away landing on my bed.
"I won't show anyone I promise" I wink at him
"You better not" he begged. I look up at him and then realised he only had on a towel.
"So... how's Elijah?" He asked wanting the scoop on all the gossip
"I don't know I haven't spoke to him but he seemed really upset last night"
"Yeah I think I heard someone crying last night"
"Probably Hayley" I sighed
"They just need to realise how perfect they are for each other" he laughed but spoke in a serious tone
" I KNOW... everyone can see but them.
Although it's not that easy"
"Fair enough. I'll just get changed and meet you downstairs" he said as he walked back into the bathroom and before he shut the door he turned back around.
"And don't you dare show anyone that video!" He laughed.

Hayley's POV:

I woke up to the beam of light in my face. Today I was feeling good which was unusual giving yesterday's circumstances but I felt like going to see if Elijah was okay so I got up to get dressed. I could hear him come in this morning and he was very clearly drunk. I put on a shirt and make my way to his room. I get to his door and hear two voices snoring. I thought maybe Shan had stayed the night or something i knock on the door and there was no response.
"Elijah it's just me..." I said as I pushed open his door and I was shocked by what I saw...
He was laying in bed with a woman and he had no shirt on.
"Oh Hayley" he grunted
"What even is the time" he moaned and went to grab his phone to check when he was shocked by the fact there was a woman in his bed.
"What the..." he looked up at me.
"Hayley please let me explain"
"Oh no you don't need to explain to me..." I muttered as I was trying to hold back my tears.
I know he didn't owe me anything and we wasn't even together but it hurt to see him with another woman.
"Hayley I have no clue how she got here... I swear"
"It's fine Elijah I'll let you" I swallowed hard
"Get back to it..." I quickly shut his door and went as fast as I could to my room but bumped into Shannon...
"Oh god Hayley be careful" she laughed softly
"Hey? Hey? What's up?" She said as she could see the tears in my eyes.
"Oh Um nothing..." she looked in my eyes and then back to where I had came running to.
"Omg did Elijah tell you about yesterday... I'm so sorry Hayley" she said as she laid a hand on my shoulder
"What? No what do you mean?"
"Oh Um nothing sorry" she quickly changed the subject which was suspicious...
"What's the matter Hayley?"
"Go in Elijahs room and you will find out" I said as I walked off still trying not to cry.

Elijah's POV:

I can't believe Hayley had just seen that. Even though I wanted her to forget about me and I wanted to move on from our forbidden but irresistible love I didn't want it to happen this way...
"Elijah why is Hayley upset?" Shannon walked in my room and then gasped before putting her hand on her face.
"Oh my f**k" she whispered loud enough for me to hear but not to wake up the unknown woman
"Elijah what are you thinking... I know your trying to forget her but f**k me don't be an arse about it"
"Shannon i don't know how she got here"
"Yeah yeah Elijah we have been best friends for 900 years you don't have to lie to me"
"I'm being deadly serious" I sighed
"I've upset Hayley haven't i" i sighed while running my hands through my hair and along my neck
"Elijah you need to fix things with her but first get rid of... whoever that is" she said as she left the room.

"Excuse me" i say as I tap the woman on her shoulder
"Urgh" she said as she rolled over to look at me. I was about to ask her why she was in my bed when Hayley walked past my door
"Hayley!" I shouted and she stopped and walked in my room
"Oh hey..." she sighed and was clearly hurt
"Oh my god your the famous Hayley!" The woman said as she sat up in the bed
"How do you know who I am?" Hayley asked and I must admit I was very confused
"Elijah here wouldn't shut up about you and about how he was going to give you the..."
"NO!" I shouted cutting her off before she could finish
"How do you know about that!" I begged her to tell me
"Know about what?" Hayley asked
"Nothing!" I said before the woman could finish
"You wouldn't stop moping over her until your best friend set us up"
"Did you?" Hayley asked
"Oh god no I know better than to sleep with a man who is in love with another woman" she laughed
"No Elijah got every drunk very fast and your friend carried me into your bed and he said something very strange..."
"What did he say?" Hayley said as she sat at the end of my bed
"I can't wait until she sees this" she imitated the mysterious man.
"What did he look like?" I asked
"Tall, jet black hair, you kinda feel sorry for him because he seems so depressed..."

"Jackson?" Hayley asked
"Omg yes! That's his name!" She said
"IM GOING TO KILL HIM!" I shouted as I got up from the bed but was stopped by Hayley in the door way
"Hayley let me leave now!"
"Elijah no!"
"Hayley move out of my way please!"
"I'm not moving you will have to make me!" She said and then I looked at her before picking up the bottle of bourbon from the table and smashing it on the floor before taking a seat. Hayley took a seat next to me and took the broken glass out of my hand before leaning her head against me
"Elijah please don't do anything stupid..." By this point the woman had disappeared
"Hayley I want to kill him... he made it look like..."
"Like what?" She asked fully knowing what I meant
"Like I cheated on you. And I know we aren't even together but it still felt like it..."
"I know it did Elijah and I will deal with Jackson but please don't do anything you will end up regretting..."
"I won't... but he knows and is going to tell you..." he sighed and placed his hands on his face
"Knows what?" Hayley asked as she lifted her head from my arm
"Hayley about what I gave Shannon..."
"It was something that I was planing on giving you one day..."
"Elijah..."
"No Hayley let me tell you before he does please... it was a ring. It wasn't for now but it was for in the future"
"Elijah I"
"I know that we can't be together for so many reasons but I just wanted to have hope..."
"I know what you mean. I'm so sorry Elijah" she whispered in my ear
"But Hayley we should find Shannon before her and klaus find out what happened god knows what they will do..."

A/N: I'm sorry it took so long to write lmaooo but next part will be a POV of shan,abbey,kol and klaus going to deal with Jackson 😌
