Waverly's POV

"So, um, exactly where are you leading me too?" I ask, trying to break the silence that has fallen between us.

"That, is classified information that I cannot say right now, but you will understand once we get there," He said, looking over to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. I tilted my head down to look at my feet to make sure he didn't see the blush that was intensifying on my cheeks.

"Come on! So many secrets!" I fake whine, making him flash a fanged smile, but then doubled down and started coughing, his eyes turning a sickly color.

"Wyatt!" I said before rushing to help him stand back up again, "What happened?"

"Its not the time right now, you'll find out in a little while anyway," he replied, pushing the topic from the conversation.

"Speak of the devil, we're almost there," he realizes, pointing in the direction of a huge looking rock formation. But as we got closer, I saw that we weren't alone.

"Waverly, I have brought you to the wolf den," he says as we stop in front of it, opening his arms. I just take a second to take in its beauty. It had ivy and moss growing on the sides of it and everywhere you look, you can see important looking markings engraved into the rocks itself.

"Wyatt, why did you bring me here exactly, though?" I question, seeing no point in his actions.

"Come inside and we will explain," he responded, showing me inside. It was even more beautiful on the inside!

"Waverly, say hello to everyone- Ahwwoo!" I hear Wyatt howl.

"Ahwwoo!" I howl, making the other wolves howl at me.

"Hey, you said that perfectly!" Wyatt added, a shocked and impressed tone in his voice.

"Why thank you, I have read a book or two about the werewolf language," I bragged.

"Makes sense," Wyatt muttered under his breath, a smile creeping on his face.

"Wyatt, this isn't why you brought her here," Willa popped out of nowhere and said.

"Ya, I followed you into the woods, I'm in the wolf den, now explain what happened earlier and why I'm here," I demand, a stern look on my face and arms crossed over my chest.

"This should explain everything," Wyatt said as he picked up a glowing white rock and held it up in the air, for which it projected a picture of a girl, who looked just like me, howling. But the girl in the projection wasn't human, she looked like she was a werewolf.

"Waverly, if this is true, you can lead us to the Moonstone, I believe you are the Great Alpha, I believe you're a werewolf!" Wyatt spills. I freeze, taking everything in.

Okay, first they think that I am a WEREWOLF? AND they think that I'm the "Great Alpha?" This is crazy.

"What!? How could that be?" I ask, still my shocked expression could be read on my face.

"Willa, may I go grab it?" Wyatt turns around and asks. Grab what?!

"You better be right about this, but ya. It's a good thing I like her," Willa ejects back, the side of her mouth tugging upwards just a little.

Wyatt ran somewhere in the cave and emerged a couple seconds later with a plush looking box.

He opened the box to reveal a crystal-looking necklace which glowed a light blue.

"Waverly, this is the fully-charged Moonstone which has been set aside for the Great Alpha for centuries. If you choose to, when you put this on, you will be transformed into a werewolf, like us, forever." He finishes, looking into my eyes for an answer hopefully.

I think about it for a second. I have never really had a place in this world. I dressed and acted different than everyone in this town, and I am not a zombie, duh! Ever since I was little, I always read books about werewolves and witches, always wanting to be like them, having something magical or special about them, but that was just a fantasy, until now.

"What do you say, Wave?" He asks again, edging forward, still looking into my eyes.

"I think, I'll do it!" I nodded, getting a few cheers and howls from some wolves in the back. Wyatt just smiled and nodded before picking up the necklace carefully from its box. I moved my hair out of the way, and he put it around my neck before stepping back.

I instantly felt power and lightning serge through my veins, up into my brain. I felt my fingernails turn into sharp claws and fangs sprout out of my mouth. My outfit and hair also changed into something more, werewolfie. Picture above

I turned around and growled, my eyes turning a shade of amber.

"See Willa, I told you she was the Great Alpha!" Wyatt teased his sister before coming over to my side.

"So I am a werewolf," I reply, a smirk on my face.

"Yes you are, and the prettiest one I've ever seen," he winks and turns around, his spot replaced with Willa.

"Great, now since she's the Great Alpha, she should know where the Moonstone is and be able to lead us to it," Willa announced, making the den explode with cheers and howls of the entire wolf pack, but now I was able to understand all of them? Weird, must be a wolf thing.

"So, White Hair, where is our Moonstone?" She asks, her face a little softer than I've ever seen it before, not as hard and stern.

"Well, Seabrook uses this unusual power source, that just so happened to have been used to create Zombies, so that might be our Moonstone! It's at Seabrook Power!" I shout, finally piecing together the puzzle. The den filled up with cheers and howls once more, congratulating me.

"We will need a plan to infiltrate Seabrook Power, so that is our next step. Plan to infiltrate Seabrook Power tomorrow night, wolves," instructed Willa before walking off deeper into the den, probably to brainstorm the plan.

Wyatt walked over to me with the widest smile you have ever seen. He pulled me into a tight hug, me immediately hugging back. I placed by head in the crook of his neck, just staying like that for a minute. "Thank you," I hear him whisper. "Of course, you guys are my new family," I reply, copying his smile making him chuckle. "This for sure has been the strangest night of my life, but the best for sure," I revealed before hugging him again.

"Wait! I feel stupid now, I still don't know why you looked sick earlier in the woods?" I ask, stepping back a step from him.

He laughed a bit, "Oh ya, it's a little sad, out Moonstone necklaces, they are running out of their charge, so it makes us sick, some more than others. But now that we know where the Moonstone is, we don't have to worry about that anymore, thanks to you," he promised, making me blush a little, but I didn't even try to hide it, making him smile before saying that it's probably time for me to go home.

"You know, it's getting late, I could walk you home if you would like?" He asks.

"You know what, it's been a long day, that sounds nice," I take the offer. I howl Aohhwo- goodbye- and leave with Wyatt next to me, his arm around my shoulders. I could get used to this.
