Waverly's POV

"I win!" I yell as we near the den. I turn around me and see in the near distance Wyatt, hunched over and breathing heavily.

"Someone a little tired over there?"

"No!" He shouted, running a hand through his hair,"Its just really early!"

"Ya, keep telling yourself that," I whispered.

He caught up and walked beside me and took my hand interlocking our fingers.

We rounded the den and stepped inside, instantly hit with a depressing aura. With one of our kind ill, it brings down everyone spirits. Even some of the most cheerful turn melancholy. It's a depressing sight indeed.

I feel tears begin to form in my eyes. I turn my head away and wipe them away. Wyatt then gave my hand a tight squeeze. We'll fix this, we have to.

I see Willa and Addison talking in the corner, so I motion for them to come over to us. They do and I start talking, "Come with us you guys... we have something to show you."

"Is it-"

"Yes" I cut Addi off. She closed her eyes and nodded. Wyatt turned to face me with a questionable expression, "Did you-"

"Yes Wyatt I told her,"

"But I thought we agreed to keep it between the two of us until we were sure,"

"I couldn't keep something that hopeful from her Wyatt, she's my best friend,"

"I thought I was your best friend," Wyatt mumbled, his smile turning into a slight frown.

"Can't I have two best friends?" I ask lightheartedly.

He laughed a little and shrugged, "I guess so,"

Willa cleared her throat and said, "Sorry to break up this love-fest but what do you guys know that I don't!"

"We'll tell you but not here, let's go somewhere more private," I replied. We all snuck out of the den and was met with the sun shining at high noon. We went around and to the back and found a spot on the grass to sit on.

Willa sat down and started talking, "Now that we're alone, what the hell are you all talking about!"

"Well, we found a possible way to fix Emilio's Moonstone," I say, looking her straight in the eyes.

"Well are you going to tell me how!" She raised her voice.

"I was getting there! Anyway, so yesterday I remembered something on a rock I saw in deep in the woods, so early this morning Wyatt and I snuck off and went to search for it, and when we found the engraved rock, we saw it said something about mending a sacred stone, and we thought it meant the Moonstone, so I took a picture of it,"

I pulled out my phone from my back pocket and pulled up the picture.

Everyone had a strange look on their faces. I turned my phone around and say, "Oops, wrong picture, sorry. Okay, here's the RIGHT picture," I turned my phone around for the second time. After a couple seconds, shocked expressions took over both their faces.

"Um, guys, one problem though, it says that every Alpha has this "thing", but I was the Alpha, and I never got any concoction," Willa points out.

"Maybe you just weren't Alpha for long enough," Wyatt teases.

"Shut up little bro,"

"Even after Willa's observation, I think that we should look for it, I mean it's the only idea we have left anyway," I announce.

I turn to Addison and ask, "Hey, Addi, how are you taking this new information?"

"I-I mean, this is... not what I expected, but if it will save my boyfriend then I'm up to try just about anything," she replied.

"That's the spirit! Now for step one, it says that while some Alphas knew about this potion, only a couple chose to keep it safe, so they gave it to their "neighbors" for safe keeping?"

"And we thought that by neighbors it meant the humans, so they gave this "thing" to the human's to keep it safe."

"So now we need to figure out what humans have it!" Willa figured.

"Hey Waverly, when you learned that you were a werewolf, who did Mom say your parents were?" Addi asks.

"She said that it was her sister and... THE ALPHA! Do you think he had the thing were after for?" I remember.

"But he's dead," Willa added.

"I know that, but what if he gave it to someone in Seabrook!"

"That is a possibility, who could it be though?" Wyatt questioned.

Everyone was thinking so hard you could literally hear all the gear turning away.

Then a thought pops in my head, "Guys, who would be a human that my father probably knew and trusted," nobody said anything, "exactly! He probably didn't like humans then! So then let's think about my mother. Who was a human that she trusted enough to keep something safe forever?"

Addison gasps, "My mother..."

"Exactly! If anyone has it, its would be her," I concluded.

"So I guess the next thing to do is to look around Mrs. Wells house and ask her if her sister ever gave her anything important looking," Willa said.

"But can't we get something to eat first, I haven't eaten ANYTHING today and I'm starving!" Wyatt whines.

"Fine, you big baby, we'll get something to eat for lunch and THEN go and ask her about it," I gave in.

"Well why are we still sitting here when we could be eating, come on you guys!"
