~Flashback~
(Y/N)'s fourth year at Hogwarts had just begun, and she had already built a reputation around the school. Outside the Slytherin Common Room, (Y/N) used to skip down the hallways humming the Hogwarts anthem.

Students from different Houses would give her weird looks as they couldn't help but laugh at the Slytherin who was prancing down the corridors. Some couldn't believe that she was in Slytherin...

But after (Y/N)'s conversation last year with Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, students started to believe that the Sorting Hat didn't make a mistake. It has never been. (Y/N) couldn't help but smile and wave at the students as she was too busy playing with her wand.

What got her so excited? Nothing. She was always that cheerful. Every morning she would be one of the firsts to breakfast. She would greet all of the teachers and staff, including the ghosts that lived in the castle.

Even Dumbledore was a bit shocked when he found out that (Y/N) managed to become friends with Peeves the Poltergeist without shooing him away because of his playful antics against the staff.

She would walk around the castle in her free periods and greet all of the different paintings. But whenever (Y/N) was having a bad day, and she would lock herself up in her dorm and isolate everybody until the next day.

Some say that (Y/N) was cursed because they believed that no one could be that happy. But some Slytherin saw that as a gift for having a person like (Y/N) to stand up for them. Not all Slytherin is evil, you know.

Slytherin first-years didn't want to be the main target for the bullies that tend to hide around corners. They believed that if they started acting cruel and mean to all of the outer Houses and Muggle-Borns, they would stay safe from criticism.

But (Y/N) was their pillar. She was their light. People even believed that she was the Heir of Slytherin, but those were just fake rumors. Or were they.? Dumbledore saw the girl passing by and smiled.

"Do I even have to ask why you are in such a mood, Ms. (Y/N)?" The girl turned around and ran towards Dumbledore while giggling. "There's no need to answer that question, Headmaster."

"Oh, Ms. (L/N), if only there were more kind Boa like you in our world," Dumbledore sounded sad when he said that. (Y/N) caught on and pulled out a branch in the shape of a large ring; it had lots of Coriander wrapped around it.

"For you, Professor!" (Y/N) stretched out her arms that were now fully showing her flawless (s/c) skin. "Oh, thank you, Ms. (L/N). You know, this reminds me of the time when your mother was a student, she and Peeves-

"Covered the Great Hall in Hollyhock. I've heard that story many times already." (Y/N) rolled her eyes and bursts out into laughter. She used to hear from Peeves when he and (Y/N)'s mother used to pull pranks all over Hogwarts by covering the castle in flowers.

"Don't worry, Professor. I'm more of a giver than a prankster. Children don't always take after their parents. Even if some of us got sorted because of heritage." (Y/N) smiled and folded her hands behind her back.

Dumbledore smiled and placed the crown on top of his head. He playfully strikes a pose as (Y/N) and some other students that gathered around laughed. "Thank you, (Y/N)! But may I ask, why have you and Natallia made different flowers for each person you've met?"

"I'm sure you are smart enough to know the meanings behind what's on your head, Professor." (Y/N) winked at Dumbledore and walked to her next class.

Dumbledore sighed as he traced his fingers over the glass coffin with the witch sleeping inside. "After all these years, I finally understand." Dumbledore stared down at the tattered crown of his hands.

"The gifts you gave may be edible, but the meaning behind your flowers (Y/N) will never be forgotten, my dear. But it is such a tragedy that your merits ended up in this case." Dumbledore sighed and put the crown on his head.

He smiled at his reflection through a rusty mirror and led himself out of the room. "Professor Quirrell, Professor Snape, good evening!" Dumbledore beamed at them with a bright smile and walked past them.

Quirrell raised an eyebrow at what Dumbledore was wearing on his head, but Snape was furious than confused. "Is it wise to be wearing such a thing, Headmaster?" Snape mumbled a growl at Quirrell and pushed him aside.

Dumbledore turned back around and smiled, "But, of course, Severus! It was a gift, after all. I would suggest you put yours on, as well! Those colors of purity won't fit a wizard any other than you." Dumbledore's recommendation saddened Snape.

Snape loved the gift that (Y/N) had made for him when they were sixteen. He couldn't bring himself to wearing such a beautiful thing. "That won't be necessary, Albus. I'm sure you do not want to be seen by our students either."

Snape swiftly turned his heels and walked down the hallway with his robe flying behind him. "Ah, yes, forgive is for not informing you, Quirinus. An old student of mine fell ill and hasn't woken up in more than ten years."

Quirrell shook his head nervously and looked back at the doorway where the stairs were. "S-Say...Headmaster, if you don't mind me asking.? Could you be talking about the Legend of the Sleeping Serpent?"

Yeah, (Y/N)'s tale had been told by many people over time, which unsettled Snape since he did not want other people talking about such a thing. Dumbledore nodded his head whispered in closer to Quirrell.

"Best to mention that name to Professor Snape. He had a bit of history with the sleeping serpent. He wishes no one to be a bother about it." Quirrell nodded his head but secretly thanked Dumbledore for giving him vital information.

"O-Of course, Headmaster..."
