5. "Oppa"

You were breathing heavily and your tshirt was all soaked in sweat , you looked at your watch while your legs were rushing at its fullest speed... 7:27 it said.

AAAGGGHHH!! You were ridiculously late.

You should rather take this as warning now. You simply can't afford to talk to Benny in the morning. Her phone calls never ended before half an hour and... but can you really blame her this time ? wasn't it you who couldn't stop talking about Yong-joon ?!

Huhh...

You looked at the huge ground you needed to pass , thinking about the set of stairs you'll need to climb to finally get to your classroom and how you would still not be able to reach on time , you gave up on the idea of attending the class for the day. So you lowered your pace and sat down on the sidewalk. It was pointless to run anymore , you would be missing your first class anyway . You pulled out a wet tissue from your backpack and patted it over your face which was soon snapped down by a jolt. Absolutely pissed, you looked up to see who the hell had the guts to do such a thing,

But your eyes were rather glued to a smiling face, just a few inch from yours. His dark black eyes, glaring at you. You could feel his breath over your lips. Yong-joon has never looked so stunningly handsome. Half of his hair were brushed back neatly while the other half falling over his forehead. He wore a light blue coloured shirt which fitted him perfectly , the sleeves were rolled up making his biceps visible. Your jaw fall half open and your eyes stopped blinking for a while

"Oppa" you said in a faint voice.

"What ? I couldn't hear you. Say it again " his raspy voice demanded.

Hashh... Thank goodness he didn't hear you. It took your brain some more time to suppress all the exhilaration and you shook your head in complete denial and said,

"N..na.. nothing"

His eyes got squinty and the mouth crimps shut in one corner. He glared at you as if you were being interrogated ,
" Don't lie ! You said something.. something .. O.. ? "

" Yeah... O... OMG! OMG you look so.. soo handsome "
You cut him in between before he could say or think any further and smiled so that he won't get suspicious anymore.

"Ahhh... Well I was born handsome Y/N.
Now just get up , we need to go somewhere"
He pulled you up and started dusting your pants as he said this.

He booked a cab and while getting in you checked the destination location on the driver's device.
You were going to Itaewon.

You exactly knew which song to play for the ride.

* Sweet Night *

As the cab drove down the streets of Seoul , you turned towards Yong-joon only to find his perfect face looking even brighter as the rays of sun embraced them. His hair flickering backwards , soft pink lips and his walnut brown eyes made him look like a piece of art. Your heart skipped a beat. Why haven't you felt this way earlier ? He was always right in front of you, joking around, teasing you, getting drunk and talking crap but why were you feeling differently now ?

But the greater question was, did he felt anything similar or it's just you ?

Soon enough you were walking around in the busy streets of Itaewon. You bought some books and dresses for yourself and a tshirt for Joonie which made him smile like a baby. He took you to some famous street food stalls and then you headed towards , what he said to be , his favourite restaurant.

Benny : Is this DanBam ??? Where Park Saeroyi and Oh Soo-ah met again after seven years 😍😍😍

Y/N : Well... Technically yes but it's called Undukjib...

Benny : Oh boy !! Btw who are you meeting there ?? 🤭

Y/N : Yoonie brought me here. He says it's one of his favourite restaurants. 😅

Benny : Awwww !! Taking his favourite person to his favourite place 😍😍😍

Y/N : Favourite place... Yeah... But favourite person ... 'm not really sure 😶

Benny : Oh shut up bitch ! He is already in love with you...

Y/N : I wish...

Benny : Does that mean you like him ? Like seriously like him ???????

Y/N : May be 😅

You were deep into the conversation when Yong-joon tapped on your forehead and said ,

" Excuse me , Ms. Y/N . If you have forgotten it already then let me remind you , You came here with me so please keep your phone aside and give me attention. A lot of attention ! "

You laughed and started gulping some Samgyeopsal. Yong-joon told you stories of how he discovered this restaurant and other little tales which you wished should never end.

When you returned back to Seoul, it was almost midnight. The cab dropped you in front of your hostel , you waved good bye to Joonie and started walking towards your room. You pulled out your mobile to browse through your social media when you saw a text from Benny.

Benny : Are you gonna save Yong-joon's contact as "Oppa" or have you done it already ?? 🥺🤭

You hadn't. But may be you will , on his birthday.
