EURAZANIA.

Under Edmuris's leadership, the four intruders braved themselves up and finally stepped into the second gateway, into the hidden nation of Eurazania.

But once they did, they felt the ground beneath them skidding off them, and the very next second, they were falling squarely to their deaths.

Their hearts, beating as fast as that of a rabbit in fear as they let out screams of horror while plunging headfirst into their impending demise. They didn't know what when wrong, but they could tell they were in deep trouble if they couldn't evade this fall.

And right when they thought they were doomed for good, suddenly they stopped.

"Wha-What's happening!?" One of them cried out in bewilderment as they found themselves floating in mid-air. Not as per to say, due to their lady luck, but more due to the gears they were donned in at the moment.

The boots they wore somehow magically grew a pair of fluffy white wings in their ankles and were the ones responsible for keeping them atop the ground, hovering in-flight.

"Oh....Oh My Lords in Heaven!!! I thought I had come to the end of my little life just now." Rudy, the beefy thief was bathed in cold sweat as he whimpered in fear.

The others were in no condition to utter words of sanity as they were too shocked and frightened by the sudden free fall.

"Guys! Look!!" Ophelia Vegan, being the first one of the herd to finally come to their senses, exclaimed.

And what graced their eyes was nothing sort of ordinary.

The sight left them so stumped that being dumbstruck would be the understatement of the year. They were floating above the clouds, and all they could see were snow-white clouds. The clouds were not just mere clouds by and of itself. They were like the landscape, filling up their entire vision with only white wooliness, while some of them had been woven into fine tendrils, twisting and curling themselves into altitudes unimaginable. They looked like fine wisping stems shooting upwards, as if they were trying to reach the sun itself. The five Orphic perpetrators would have thought them to be coiling young fronds if they weren't white fluffiness.

Amidst this unfathomable phenomenon, they saw castles and houses emerging out of the cloudy landscape, looking as though they were made atop the clouds themselves, giving it a feeling of a vast kingdom of clouds. But that was not even a fine panicle of all the things that really surprised them. They saw chariots and carts being dragged by flying fishes and sky whales amid the clouds, that looked like snaky roads between hilly terrains. Well not just fishes, but all kinds of flying creatures they had never witnessed before in their lives. From pegasuses to griffins being used to pull coaches and carriages, pixies and perytons; every kind of airborne creature was seen hovering around them, going on about their own deals.

And then, there were the Halcyons. They looked like regular people really, except for their clothes and their formidable auras, and they were literally walking on clouds, like normal people do on dusty tedious streets on a monotonous warm day. There were stalls and shops selling all kinds of wares and the atmosphere was almost like a standard routine market day from their capital. Yes, 'thunderstruck' was the least typical word that could describe their state of mind at this very moment of time.

Now Edmuris, finally realized why Viz had provided him with these magical gears before he was about to make the journey to Eurazania. Because Eurazania was literally, in fair words, was a kingdom in the skies. Impossible for any Orphics to ever be able to set foot in without adequate magical items or aid from the Halcyons themselves. "Quick, pull up your hoods. We can't be seen by them, least they will realize we are not of the Eurazanians." He quickly advised his team of four, and they followed his words, putting on their dark hoods to hide their appearance. They were right to do so, because they looked nothing like a Halcyon.

Halcyons were, well.... they might look like your everyday normal humans with a pair of hands and feet and a lone head, but at the same time, they looked nothing like a mundane human being. Their eyes were a lush of crimson red, like the red in the bloom of poppy meadows; their hair, spun gold; however not the dreary kind of monochromic blond. It was like real gold, like spun gilt, sparkling and lustrous with live magic, sometimes seeming as though they had been sprinkled with pixie dust. Their faces, as though cut from a mould, perfect as porcelain, without the hint of a blemish in sight. They looked like ethereal Gods compared to Orphics. So how could a mere mortal not be recognized in the midst of these perpetual creatures.

As the five ventured close to the hub of the realm of Eurazania, they realized it was not all clouds and magic. The land of Eurazania was in fact, floating up in the sky. And it was not just a single land, they were a masses of many domains, like islands spread out amid a vast sea. However, they still needed their winged shoes, for they could not travel from one floating island to another while walking on the cloudy roads like the Halcyons.

"Such breath-taking vistas!" Ophelia Vegan marvelled as her eyes roved over the many inhumanly advanced structures and architectures of the sky kingdom.

"Truly. Not to mention all the unearthly beauties roaming around these cloudy streets." Cuffled's indecorous eyes wandered over the many females of the Halcyons around him. He truly felt like he was in Heaven, and all the fairies and angels were lingering over him just to cater to his needs. The word 'Vulgar' was really meant for men like him.

"That's enough of sightseeing. We don't have enough time. Its time to focus on the quest." Edmuris interrupted the two before they could run awry and cause him any trouble.

"What! Why?" Ophelia whined in disappointment, "This is our first time in a real magical land. I don't think it would hurt a bit to do a little sightseeing."

The other three held the same opinion as of Ophelia, hence they as well, nodded in consent.

"(Sigh!) Have you guys forgotten why the realm of Eurazania had been sealed off from us?" Edmuris's tone had a hint of annoyance in it. He felt incredulous eyeing these buffoons. Did they think they were on an outing for a tour? He even slightly regretted his choice of associates now that he looked at these morons. "The longer we stay here, the shorter our lifespan gets. The very air we breathe is filled with intense mystical breath of all powerful enigmatic creatures not known to us. Just their auras itself is enough to kill us in a heartbeat. And now we stand breathing this same aura. How long do you think will we last?" Edmuris laid down the unvarnished truth in front of the ignorant lot, who could simply not comprehend the crux of the vital matter.

When they finally realized the gravity of their mission, and that they were breathing an air comparable to airborne poison itself, the four intruders paled in fright.

"Wha-What!! You should have warned us sooner about this peril. We wouldn't have dared dilly-dally if we had known of this issue beforehand." Lorade groused in panic.

Edmuris almost rolled his eyes in irritation, "I did tell you about it, remember?"

That's true. He did tell them that the realm of Eurazania was sealed off by the Halcyon Queen because Orphic-borns were unable to take the brunt of the damage the mystical essence did to their magicless bodies.

Realizing how treacherous their situation right now was, the four of them straightened up, discarding any thoughts of sightseeing or what not to the back of their heads.

"Alright. What do we do now? Where do we go?" Ophelia Vegan enquired of their future plan of action.

Edmuris took out what looked like a golden compass, keeping its arrow true even as Edmuris altered its direction by moving it back and forth. This route compass too, was one of the equipments Viz provided him before his journey. He said it would point him towards the right path, and hence, it did.

Before long, five hooded intruders, cloaked in mystery, stood upon the soils of Drakynia, ready for the greatest heist of their lifetimes.
