This story has not been pre written to its entirety. I will not begin that process until I've graduated high school in a month or so. STORY NOTES:
The content of this story is not what normally succeeds on wattpad and I understand that. This does not focus on a main love story but rather on a father and son relationship, mental health, and a turning point in life. There are mild romantic undertones but they are in no way the main plot focus.
This story is the fourth in a series (see my page for 1-3) however it is entirely able to be read as a stand alone. In order to know what's happening with the family, I'll give a preview.
Jorgen Hadley is the adopted nephew of the Regina Wolves head coach. The Regina Wolves are an entirely fictional 33rd regiment of the National Hockey League stationed in Regina, Saskatchewan (33rd accounting for the existence of the Seattle Kraken who have been mentioned infrequently in past books)
Jorgen works as the EMT for this team, taking over for many of the trainer positions after the team collapsed around five/six years pre-canon. He was hired by his uncle as a last bet 3 days before the season started when he was 21 fully expecting to be replaced by an actual team of trainers within months but ended up fitting incredibly well with the staff and the position. Initially trained as an EMT he quickly got the additional requirements to be a trainer as well as some more staff to help him.
This story is told in pseudo-medias-res. It starts at the beginning of the important plot but several scenes are told in flashback form and those scenes will be noted and adapted for this form.
As for the characters involved, not many of the Wolves appear in the story but are all mentioned loosely. This is a new cast of people including Jorgen's friends from when he was in high school, his parents, and his old classmates.
I might add more to this here as it becomes relevant for people to know before starting the story.

These here are hand drawn so they're not the greatest but this is a rough sketch pack of Jorgen's tattoos so that you know what I'm talking about when I mention them later on in the story. Again, I might redesign these later if I get bored or if someone tells me they're in any way offensive to a culture/religion/etc.
yes I did use reference photos pretty religiously for this. there's also a mark for where the third bullet hole is if you wanted to reference that in later chapters

I know a lot of people were expecting actual tattoo designs for Jorgen but the reason they look like that is explained in the story.
