Stone Music Entertainment Announces that their Soloist Jeon Eunbyul Will be on Mental Health Leave Due to Constant Hate and Threats

A few days ago, soloist Jeon Eunbyul, known by her stage name Min, and Park Jimin of BTS publicly confirmed that they were in a relationship, and needless to say, it wasn't taken so well. Both artists received thousands, maybe even millions, of hate comments, threats, and criticism, and it seems that it has become too much for Min to handle. This morning, Stone Music Entertainment, the label Min is under, announced that their soloist would be going on a temporary hiatus while waiting for the hate to calm down. The company's official account tweeted:

"This is Stone Music Entertainment on behalf of our artist, Min. She has requested that she takes a short break and spend some time with loved ones while waiting for the harassment to calm down, which we are giving her. We care about the well-being of our idols, so we are currently taking legal action towards the threats she has received and the sasaengs that tried to inflict physical violence on Min. We ask that you respect our artist during her period of rest, and she wants to assure everybody that she is okay, apologizes for the inconvenience, and promises to come back stronger than ever. Thank you."

Min has also since archived her Instagram post that made their relationship official as of this morning as well.

The company also stated she would also be taking the break due to stress from the intense scheduling since her last break in 2015.

Minutes after that tweet was posted, fans of the artist, named Bits, were quick to send their support. The hashtags #getbettermin and #weloveyoumin have been trending since the tweet was posted. One fan tweeted:

"both min and jimin don't deserve any of the hate they're getting. i hope they're both doing okay. we'll always be here for you, min, and we'll still be here when you get back! take your time!"

We wish the best for Min as she takes this period of time to heal.
