25. Sora

I'm stressed.

The baby inside of me is strong and shows me every day since I found out I was pregnant with Kane's child. Our first baby together.

I'm sat waiting for the pack doctor Adam's in the park infirmary with Emma and Amanda to give me a checkup and find out the gender of my precious gift.

"I'm so excited and nervous, first time I was here Lucas kept pacing." Amanda says giggling.

I force a smile but I'm so nervous I can barely see straight.

Shortly after I told Kane I was pregnant he told me that wolves don't take nine months to grow, but only 5, and I almost had a freaking panic attack at the thought.

Down below is never going to look the same again. Five freaking months! And I feel it. Every day I feel myself grow heavier and tired, but most of all I can't stop myself from eating.

Perfect time for me to be a wolf. Which is another thing I am learning to live with every day.

I found out I can smell everything, and I mean everything. Pregnancy kind of makes me psycho for smells, Emma and Larson who now live with me know now not to eat eggs in the house, I cannot stand the smell, I vomited the first time I smelled them, and ever since I just went off them completely.

With Kane and 70% of the men and women have gone to fight in the Vale, things have been too quiet around here, everyone is on high alert and everyone is treating me like a priceless artifact.

I couldn't even come here without these two protective she-wolves by my side like glue.

"I love pups! Even cute little troy here is stealing my heart." Emma says in her thick French accent.

I laugh and look at Troy and his cute chubby cheeks. Adorable for sure with his blonde hair from Lucas and beautiful blue eyes from Amanda.

The door to Dr. Adam's office opens and I'm greeted with a smiling pack doctor. "Luna, my apologizes for making you wait." He says as I stand up and bows in front of me.

I smile nervously. "Please call me Sora." I hold my hand out to shake his.

He halts for a second then he reaches out to shakes my hand.

If Kane was here he would throw daggers at the poor man for even looking at me.

That man is sometimes so unbearable with protecting me from a handshake.

"Please come inside let's get started shall we." He says and I nod. I smile nervously to Emma and Amanda as they give me thumbs up and wide grins.

Shaking my head smiling I close the door and sit on the examination bed.

"Please get comfortable, first I would like to check on the pup to see how he or she is doing is that okay Luna?" He says as he gets some weird gel and smiles softly at me.

I simply nod as I feel sick with strange worry. Oh god oh god. What if the baby isn't okay? What if my stress or excessive eating is hurting them?

I lean back in the chair as I pull my top up halfway so he can see my bulging stomach. "Right, this is going to feel cold but I assure you it's perfectly normal." He says as he puts the gel on my stomach and I get a shock at how cold it feels like someone has put an ice cube on my stomach.

I hear a heartbeat on the machine next to me as he moves around the instrument to check on the baby and I'm in awe I see them. I see them moving around inside me.

"Ah yeah, here we are, yes.. hmm.. perfect, well congratulations Luna." He says beyond happy as I stare at him in curiosity.

"Here, I couldn't see it before but this is baby one, and here is baby two. You're having twins." He says grinning widely at me than the screen.
