"I'm in love with you, Asahi! Don't you fucking get it?!"

Asahi froze. His chest began to confine on him. Jaehyuk sounded so..passionate. It felt as if all the words left his mind. He tried desperately to find the words that abandoned him. Asahi's silence was tormenting Jaehyuk's sudden confidence. His heartbeat was beating into his ears, magnifying the sound of his quiet breathing.

"W-what?" Asahi asked breathlessly , finally finding a word to explain his scattered emotions.

"I..like you." Jaehyuk said with no more confidence. A pang hit Asahi's heart. That was all he's ever wanted why did he feel self conscious. He looked down and blinked a few times. Jaehyuk couldn't take seeing his reaction. He felt so stupid to think Asahi would ever feel the same way. But a small flare of hope still lit inside of him though the doubt.

"Jaehyuk...you can't." Asahi found himself saying. Warning jaehyuk from him.

"What..." Jaehyuk said the humiliation and disbelief came rushing to him. Asahi still couldn't believe anything he was hearing. His brain was still trying to process everything, leaving Asahi in disbelief.

"I'm the last person you would ever want." He muttered, still looking down.

"But-" Jaehyuk tried to say.

"i'm bad for you." Asahi looked up at him and said, begging for him to change his mind. He would be terrible for him actually. All the insecurity he had inside projected out and Jaehyuk saw that. His heart felt too heavy for his body.

"Asahi don't say that about yourself." He replied in a quiet tone, shaking his head. Asahi felt something sting in his eyes. Pressure built up in his nose, he could already tell it was going red. Though the dark lighting, he still didn't want Jaehyuk to see him. So he looked down.

"Sorry..."he said quietly . The words left him. The strings pulled at his already aching heart. His stomach tied into knots. Jaehyuk couldn't believe what he heard. his shoulders dropped. He felt the tears sting his eyes.
