Ch. 14 "Negotiation"

                                                   Kayden POV 

It was now the next day, I was walking out of school, my bag slung over my shoulder, and as I exit the building, 

I spot them, 

Steve and Bucky, 

I sighed, I walked over to them, 

"Don't you two have anything better to do?" I asked angrily 

"Not when it come to you," Bucky said crossing his arms, 

"Get in," Steve said 

"Pass," I said about to walk by them, 

"I wasn't asking," Steve said 

"And what are you going to do, huh? shove me in the car, you know I'm no detective but I'm pretty sure that would be a form of kidnapping and would sure draw a lot of attention around here," I said glaring at them, 

"Do you always have to make a fuss about everything?" Bucky asked 

"You tell me, mr lets stalk a teenage girl," I said 

"Just get in the damn car," Bucky said 

"Or what?" I said challenging him, 

He walked over to me, only now do I realize how much bigger he is than me, taller and bulkier, 

"Or I'm going to make you, now get... in.. the car," He said 

I just rolled my eyes, 

I got in the back seat of the car, finally giving up since everyone was staring, 

"So where are we going? a field trip to the zoo, because I'm going to be honest, not my thing," I said 

"You really need to stop with that, you know that," Steve said 

"I don't know what you mean," I said 

Not long we arrive back at Avengers tower, 

I sighed getting out of the car, 

We took the elevator to the main floor, 

"Welcome back Kayden," Tony said 

"Not that I had a choice in the matter, since you know you guys have been nothing but an inconvenience to me," I said crossing my arm, 

"Yeah, well after what we've seen you can do we have no intentions of letting you out of our sights," Nat said 

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" I said 

"Lang-" Steve said 

"Don't care," I said before he could have a mini stroke, 

"It means we can help you, train you," Bucky said 

"Pft, I don't need training," I said 

"Really doesn't look that way to me when you beat common criminals to a pulp," Bucky said again, 

"Then they should have thought twice about what they were doing," I said crossing my arms as I glared at him, 

"That's not how we do things," Steve said 

"Maybe for you guys," I said 

"But I don't know if you noticed I'm at this on my own," I said 

"That's why we want to offer you to join us," Tony said 

"Pass, I think I would rather kiss a toilet," I said with attitude, 

Everyone's eyes got wide, 

"That can be arranged," Tony said merely feet away from me, 

"You got something to say Tin man?" I said not far from him, 

"Yeah, were trying to help you, and all we've been getting is sass and attitude," He said 

"Has it ever occurred to you that I don't want your help," I said 

"You need all the help you can get," He said glaring at me, 

"The sad part is I think you actually believe that," I said 

"Either you except our help or-" He said 

"Or what?" I said glaring at him, 

"Alright guys why don't we take it back a notch," Steve said getting in between us, 

"Whatever," I mumbled as I was about to walk out of the room, 

I realized these people were not going to let up, so I made a decision, not my smartest but maybe if I do they will get off my back, I thought 

"A week," I said as my back was towards them, 

"What?" Steve asked 

"I will train with you for a week, but if I do you guys seriously need to get off my back," I said 

"Good enough for me," Nat said 

I nodded and walked out of the room, 

                           Bucky POV 

We watched as Kayden walked out, 

"Well at least we got her to agree to something," Steve said 

"Yeah, that's the first since we've met the kid," Clint said 

I nodded, 

"Just hope she trusts us eventually," I said still looking at the door she walked out of,
