Avengers Shattered

Ch. 24 "Peter Parker"

                                              Kayden POV

The crowd cheered as I took down an opponent much larger than me, sure I've been staying with the avengers, and sure Steve and Bucky think they are channeling my anger, 

But in reality nothing can, this what I'm doing, it helps, sure not the best way, but I'm not going to let a bunch of no good heroes tell me how I spend my time, 

So at night when everyone falls asleep that's when i sneak out of the tower to do this, 

This is what's keeping me in control of what little is left of my life, 

I've been that this fore weeks, and they haven't caught on yet, I pick different times that I sneak in and out of the tower so they don't catch on, 

I was walking down the street when someone landed behind me putting their hand on my shoulder, 

I spun around right when I was about to hit them, he panicked 

"Kayden it's me, it's me!" Peter said as he was dressed as Spiderman, 

"Jeez are you trying to lose your teeth?" I asked glaring at him, 

"Sorry," He said 

I met Peter a few weeks ago, kid seems pretty nice, but you know how I am, but since he's not an adult, I trust him a lot more than I do anyone else at this point, 

"What are you doing here?" I asked 

"I saw you and thought I would see what you were doing out here so late?" He said 

"Like your one to talk," I said adjusting the bag on my shoulder, 

He chuckled, 

"I guess you got me there," He said 

"Kayden, can I ask you something?" He said 

I just nodded, 

"Why don't you like the avengers?" he asked 

I sighed, 

"Personally it has nothing to do with them, I just don't trust any adult," I said 

"Why?" He asked 

"What is this twenty questions?" I asked 

"Sorry I just want to understand," He said 

"Trust me Peter, you don't want to understand, it would ruin your outlook on things," I said 

"What do you mean?" He asked 

I just chuckled, 

"Maybe I'll tell you one day," I said I finally arrived at the front entrance of the tower, 

"Good talking to you Parker," I said 

"You too Kayden," He said 

With that he shot a web and flung himself in the air, 

I'm never going to get used to that, I thought as I smirked, 

Guy does have a kind heart, but I don't want to get too close, I know what happens when you get too close to someone, I thought 

I closed my eyes remembering the screams of my parents as they were killed, 

I shook my head entering the building, 

I took the Elevator, finally when I got to the floor it was completely dark, 

Good, I thought just as I was about to sneak down the hallway the room lit up, 

I spun around to see Bucky, he didn't look at all one bit happy, 

"Busy night?" He asked 

Oh he is so pissed I thought looking at the scowl he had on his face,
