Ch.19 "Pain"

                                                   Kayden POV 

So it's been a few days since my session with Bucky, and the black out, and getting the crap beat out of me by my uncle, I have bruises that cover my stomach and sides, lately I've been having trouble with breathing but I just shrug it off, 

Normally I end up healing within four or five days, thanks to the replicant serum, 

I have been dodging everyone since then, I avoid my Uncle by using the window to go in and out of the house, 

I have been avoiding the avengers especially Bucky and Steve, I sneak out of school, by going out the back gym doors, 

So far it has been successful, 

At night being the soldier I avoid the main area's where the avengers are mostly seen, and some nights when I just need to let off more steam than to be the soldier, I go to the underground cage fighting, that's where I have been spending most of my time, 

But sadly I know they are going to catch on eventually, I mean they are not stupid, they are called the world's greatest heroes for a reason, 

I had my backpack slung over my shoulder, that had all the money from my win's in it, outfit, school work, pretty much anything I need just incase I need to disappear, 

I open the gym doors slowly peeking out left then right, everyone was pretty much gone, it was just me and the teachers and some nerds who stay behind, 

Okay all clear, I thought 

I started my way home, that was until a car with tinted window's pulled aside of me, I kept my eye on the side walk, 

"Kayden," I hear 

I looked towards the car and See Steve, Bucky and Sam, 

"Where have you been?" Steve asked 

"No where particularly," I said in a dull tone, 

"You've been dodging us," Bucky said 

"No, really I couldn't tell," I said with attitude, 

They looked at each other, 

Steve put it in park, and they got out of the car, 

I kept walking until someone grabbed my wrist which caused me to flinch and tense, 

I glared back at them, they looked at each other, 

"Would you guys stop doing that," I said yanking my wrist out of Bucky's grip, 

"Why are you dodging us?" Steve said 

"Like I have to tell you three," I said rolling my eyes, as I continued to walk, 

"Yes you do," Bucky said 

"Would you leave me the hell alone!" I said bursting out at them, 

"Not until you tell us what your problem is!" Bucky said 

"I don't have-" I began but was cut off by sudden pain, it knocked the air out of me, I fell to my knees gasping, 

"Kayden!" Bucky yelled, 

My vision blurred, 

"What's wrong talk to me," Bucky said keeling in front of me, 

"I... Can't .... breathe..." I said wheezing, 

"We need to get her back to the tower," Sam said 

"Hang on I've got you," Bucky said wrapping my arm around his neck as he hooked his arm under my knees and the other under my neck, 

As I struggled to breathe, 

                                     Bucky POV 

I quickly lifted Kayden in my arms, noticing how light the kid is, We all pile into the car, and Sam steps on the gas, 

"How's she doing?' Steve said looking back, 

"She's passed out," I said 

"Hurry Sam," Steve said 

He nodded and switched gears on the car, 

Please be okay, I thought looking down at her pain ridden facial expression even though she was passed out you could tell something was hurting her, 

The question I want to know is what, what caused this? I thought
