Emily:
The tiny bell above the door rang above our heads as we entered into the ice cream shop. I was instantly greeted by the sweet smell of cream and my mouth watered.
"Can I just have everything?" Aria asked jokingly but I nodded my head in agreement.

After we ordered we sat down and I was surprised to find that Alison chose to sit next to me. She looked at me with her beautiful, big, blue eyes and smiled her dazzling smile at me. I looked away, afraid that if she looked to closely at my eyes she might see that I was madly in love with her.

"Hey em, we should go to the pool later! Just because it's like really hot" Alison crinkled her nose at me and finished spooning her ice cream in her mouth.
"Okay, sounds good" I smiled at her and tried not to make eye contact.
"Well Aria and I are going to hang out at The Brew with some friends if that's cool." Spencer said throwing her bowl away.
"That's okay." I replied, maybe a little bit too eagerly. Alison smirked at me as they left, she was twirling her hair in between her fingers.
"So, just me and you today at the pool. It'll almost be like me and you in sweet pari." She smiled at our inside joke.
"Yeah, it'll be fun." I replied scooting out of my chair and putting my hands in my pockets. Alison joined me and we walked out together, our hands brushed as we walked out the door and I felt the familiar tingle that swept through my body.

"You want to come over to my house and change?" Alison asked me as we started walking.
"I don't have my suit-"
"You can borrow one of mine!" Alison clung to my arm.
I mean, how could I not say yes when she looked at me like that.
"Okay" I laughed as she tugged at my arm and her blue eyes sparkled.

We arrived at her house and I said hello to her mom who was clearly busy with cleaning. She greeted me with a hug which caught me off-guard and Alison laughed at my face. I stuck my tongue out at her and followed her to her room.
"You can wear this one." Alison threw a suit at me and I started to go into the bathroom.
"Why are you going in there? Are you too insecure?" She teased me but there was a glint in her eye that made me wonder why she wanted me to stay.
"Of course not!" I protested and took off my shirt. She looked away and quickly changed. I tried not to stare because then it would be way too obvious that I loved her and I wanted us to stay best friends.
"Maybe you should keep that suit em, it looks better on you than it ever did on me." Alison commented as I was putting on my cover-up.
"Thanks." I blushed but quickly headed out the door. Alison grabbed two towels and matched my pace.

We reached the pool and I sat down on the lawn chairs. We saw a couple leaving to the woods and I pointed them out, "they're so cute together."
"They're going to the kissing rock." Alison smirked.
"That's just a rumor." I retorted shaking my head at her.
"Just because it's a rumor doesn't mean it's not true. I heard that when you get there, you feel the spirits of the others pushing you to do it." Alison paused, "who do you want to take there?"

Oh goodness, if only she knew.

"Answer me!" Alison shoved me playfully.
" I don't know, Paige probably." I lied easily, purposefully avoiding her gaze.
"Oh. You know, you could do so much better than her." Alison remarked casually.
"Well, who would you take there?" I inquired defensively since Paige and I were dating
"Ezra, he's so gorgeous." Alison laughed and my heart sank but I was used to that feeling by now. I smiled back in agreement and took of my shirt to get a tan.
"Here, I'll put some sunscreen on you." Alison offered and I was definitely not going to decline. She took it out of her bag and put some in her hand. I may have been used to the sinking feeling of my heart, but I was not used to the feeling I got whenever Alison touched me. Her hands were soft and gentle against my back and I never wanted her to stop. I never wanted to stop loving her.

Ever.
