Emily:
It took a while for Alison and I to get back to normal. Even though we had made up, there was still some tension when Paige was brought up. I was doing everything I could to make it up to her and prove to her that she was the love of my life.

"Happy one-year anniversary!" I exclaimed, covering her eyes and kissing her neck.

She jumped and turned around, "I wondered why you asked me to meet you at the kissing rock."

I smirked and snaked my arms around her waist, "I love you."

"I love you too." The words never got old and I never under-used them. When Alison wrung her hands around my neck, I still got shivers through my body.

Sure, sometimes Alison could be hard-headed or stubborn, but she was definitely worth it.

"Come on, I'm taking you somewhere." I took her hand and smiled.

"You know that kidnapping is against the law, right?" Alison teased me.

"Well, good thing you're not a kid." I teased back and tugged her arm.

"I'm a kid at heart, does that count?" She asked shuffling her feet.

"No, no stop being lazy and walk." I stuck my tongue out at her.

"Carry me." She held out her arms and I couldn't resist her baby blue eyes along with the puppy dog face.

"I'm carrying you to the car, but you've been eating a lot so I don't know if I can make it all the way." I tried to hold back a smile and she hopped in my back.

"You just called me fat, we're so not sleeping with each other tonight." She whined in my ear.

"Well, if you insist." I shrugged my shoulders, which was very hard considering that I was carrying her.

"Wait, no. That's punishing myself too." She pressed her face against my cheek.

"That's what I thought." I sighed after setting her down by the car. I opened up the passenger door and she giggled and sat down. I moved quickly to the drivers door and hopped in.
Alison was going to love the surprise.

Alison:
Emily put a blindfold on my face which I thought was absolutely ridiculous but I obliged anyways considering that it was for a surprise.

"What's taking so long?" I lifted up my head a little to see if I could see anything out of my blindfold.

"Hey, no peeking." I felt Emily's hand reach for mine and I intertwined our fingers.

"But we've been driving for so long!" I honestly just wanted to get Emily out of her clothes and into my bed.

"Would you be patient?" She insisted, tracing circles over my hand, "besides, we're already here."

I took off my blindfold and glanced outside my window, "em, baby, why are we at the airport?"

"Because Ali, we're going to Paris." She beamed and my heart leapt for joy.

"It's our thing." I smiled looking at Emily happily.

"I know. I figured it was about time."

"You're the best. I love you!" I kissed her softly. But then something popped into my head, "what about luggage and stuff?"

"I already talked to your mom and luggage is in the back." She gleamed and I kissed her again.

"This is the best gift ever!" I still couldn't believe it.

"We'll be staying for a week so we'll be sightseeing like every day," she paused, "and of course having some alone time." She added when she saw me pouting.

"Sounds perfect!"

And it would be, a whole week in Paris doing all the romantic things that we had talked about. I couldn't wait.

Looking at Emily beside me, I knew this is where I belonged. I belong in her safe and caring arms.

"What are you looking at?" Em asked breaking me out of my trance.

"How lucky I am to have you." I replied honestly.

"Don't get all mushy, gushy on me...yet." She winked and I shoved her playfully.

"No, seriously. I love you with everything. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me and I want you to know that." I insisted.

"I do know that because I feel the same way." She replied pulling me close and kissing my forehead.

I got goosebumps and my head tingles from where her lips had just touched.

Yep, I was the luckiest person in the world.
