Chapter 14

Lenas POV

Kara and I just arrived at L-Corp and she had called her sister. This time we knew not to check the orphanage since she took things with her this time, as if she wasn't planning on coming back,

"Is Alex coming? You didn't need to call her yet" I say

"Yea, she is and I did, she can do things we can't" she explains

"Okay" I say to agree with her and I logged into my computer in my office,

Not too long after being there Alex comes in, it's midnight now and Jo must have turned her phone off because the last location was down past the park a little,

"Why would she have gone down there?" Alex ask

"I don't know, she stayed out late the other night down at the park" Kara says

"She said she just likes the park" I sigh

"I don't know, I really don't, do we report her missing? Wait until tomorrow to see if she comes home?" I say

"If you report it they are going to share her photo around but there isn't much they can do" Alex says

"She's right" I sigh,

We spent the next hour or so brainstorming on what we could do when my computer beeps

"What was that?" Kara ask and I walk over to it

"Her phone" I say and start typing some things in

"It was active for less than a minute about 5 miles from here" I say and pull it up on my laptop and the the three of us get in the car to check around the area

Josephines POV

Emery and I had been sitting in this shelter for about an hour, she fell asleep in my lap and I can't sleep. I keep thinking of Kara and Lena, I needed to do this for Emery, she deserves to be a normal child without worrying about anything, she's only seven.

I sat there thinking, thinking of everything, everything that had happened to get me to where  I am.

I was about to fall asleep when I heard a familiar voice

"Hi, we're looking for our daughter, um she's 14, brunette, petite and brown eyes, have you seen her? Or did she come this way?" I heard Lena say, she called me her daughter.... I didn't think they thought that way,

"Emery wake up" I say gently shaking her, we had to get out before they found me

"Emery" I say again and she opens her eyes

"What?" She asked rolling over

"We have to go, hurry  up" I say and she gets up and I grab my bag and we quickly make our way out the back door

Lenas POV

We found a little shelter, open to anyone who may need it so we thought she may have made it into here

"Hi, we're looking for our daughter, um she's 14, brunette, petite and brown eyes, have you seen her? Or did she come this way?" I ask

"Um we only had one young girl come in, she had a kid with her though," she explains

"A kid? That mustn't be her then" Kara says

"thank you for your time" I say and we walk back out

"Anything?" Alex ask

"No," Kara says

Josephines POV

"Why did we leave?" Emery ask me And I sigh
