The next few months were absolutely beautiful for Mayera and Arjun. They spent every second of their free time together. They went on dates, hung out, binge watched, cooked food together. He had basically wined and dined and wooed his girl.
A month after their relationship started, the media had gotten a picture of them together, exiting the movie theater, holding hands. And since they'd been the media's favorite business couple.
Their families also got to know about the news. The Singhanias saw it coming and gave them their blessings. Nandita and Kabir were also happy that their Mayeru had found his prince charming.
But there was one person who did not take this news easy, Tejas Oberoi. He was pissed no limit and didn't talk to Mayera for two days. It was not like he didn't want his princess to be happy, it was just he didn't like the fact that he'd have to share her with another man now. As he'd said earlier to Nandita also, he was not ready for this and didn't know how to react.
It took a lot of convincing from Nandita's side before he finally agreed to talk to his daughter. Mayera apologized to him for not telling him before but she was just scared. Tejas understood and gave Arjun a shot, but not before threatening him to end him if he ever hurt his daughter.
His threat reminded Arjun of Kabir's threat. Like father, like son.
Everything seemed to be going perfect after that. Sure the lovely couple have had their share of fights, but they were also a part of their relationship. Fights are healthy, as long as anger doesn't escalate to ego.
Arjun had also guided Mayera whenever she faced any hardships or complications, and she always thanked him with tons of heated make-out sessions.
Right now, she was in Arjun's home, cooking his favorite chicken biryani with some raita, and kheer. He was in Mumbai for the past two days as it was Alina's graduation ceremony. Mayera was also supposed to go with him and meet her family as well, but at the last minute, her Singapore client pre-poned the meeting and she had to stay back.
This was the first time that Mayera and Arjun had stayed away from each other in their seven month old relationship. She had missed him terribly. So she decided to leave early from office and wait for him with his favorite food ready.
After she was done with her cooking, she took a quick shower in the guest bedroom to get rid of all the sweat. She then wore a printed blue kurti with white palazzo.
