Glancing out his window he watched the sunset, the hues of a raining fall evening set into nightfall. With a sigh, Tom returned to the paper work in front of him, a list of new potential recruits. It's been decades since he felt so.. tired, so empty, but he would never admit this out loud. Returning from their failed mission remained on his mind, seeing her truly did effect him. His younger emotions wanted nothing more but to embrace her again, to hold her cold hands, to have her by his side where she belonged.

Bringing his wine to his lips he chugged the remaining content, he refused to fall deeper in his self pity. It was beyond weak of him, to sit here remembering the times they had spent. It was pathetic he thought, but the memories burned him, it drove him mad. Years of searching and there she was, a mere few feet away yet she stood so far.

He couldn't understand why she has switched sides, why would she aid light and not him, her promises to make him great proved to be nothing but lies, and this angered him. She played him like a pack of dolls, gave him false ideals, only to work to destroy him in the end. Her words made no sense that night, he would die if he killed Harry Potter?

How would he be his undoing? How could she even predict that...

His eyes widen, as it slowly begin to process, he remembered. She can see the future. She must have seen his future.. all those sleepless nights, the nights she laid awake in his bed while he slept was because she had seen him die? Was that what she meant? It had to be, so the boy would find a way to kill him again.

"You dammed girl." He muttered to himself, standing to fetch an owl.

If she had known all this time, then why hadn't she tried to stop him. He frowned, the day before the attack she had tried to stop him was it to protect him in the end? He had to many questions only she could answer, he needed her back and he needed her now.

He summoned ink and paper quickly writing to Draco before sending his owl off. He had to meet with her again, he must.

Draco looked up from his desk as he heard tapping at his window, seeing a black owl. With a huff he opened his bedroom window allowing the owl to enter the room, taking the letter he recognized the Dark Lord writing. He patted the owl before seeing the letter wasn't addressed to him but to Conscious?

He frowned before pulling on a sweater and slipping on his shoes heading to her room. It was late but he knew he couldn't keep this from her till morning. When he arrived he walked straight in as always, never having the decency to knock.

"You really should learn to knock Draco." Conscious muttered as she stood by her window looking out before turning to face him.

"The Dark Lord has written you.." Draco said as he passed the letter to her.

She raised a brow, curiously taking the letter, opening it. A few minutes of silence went by before Draco asked what it said.

"He wants to meet tonight." She said with a frown. "Though I'm not sure why he made it clear I was an enemy."

"Perhaps he's just horny." Draco yawned bluntly. She gave him a look before walking towards her room.

"Your going?"

"I can't keep the worlds greatest wizard waiting." She yelled from her room as she changed.

"It could be a trap."

"If it were, you would've lured me." She countered walking back to the main area, dressed in jeans and a sweater.

He hummed in agreement. "Well.. be safe then I guess."
