The break came to a quick start, the Wesley's, Harry and Conscious finding themselves at the family home. It was nearly night fall as everyone was getting ready for bed. Harry and Conscious sat at the dining table with a cup of tea each going over transfigurations.

"Like this." She muttered showing him again.

"Can we take a break, I don't want to wake the others." Harry yawned drinking his tea.

"Sure." She agreed, mimicking his actions.

Suddenly she felt a pull on her arm as she drank, she glanced down to see the snake moving, quickly she put the glass down and shoved her arm under the table. Harry was too zoned out from the lack of sleep to notice the sudden change.

"Let's call it a night ya?" She asked.

Harry sat up from his slouched position fixing his glasses. "Really?"

"Yes, Im rather tired."  The snake grew tighter as she tried not to wince.

"Okay, well goodnight Conscious." Harry smiled before turning to leave her alone.

She brought up arm up and hissed at the already forming bruises Tom was leaving.

"What?" She hissed.

The snake simply slithered towards the door. She glanced at it before quietly walking through the house in her socks. Opening the old door without making a noise proved to be a slow challenge but she made her way out, seeing an owl holding a piece of paper. She reached out before suddenly disappearing with a crack and reappearing in a low lit room.

"Darling." A silky voice called out from behind her, she turned to see Tom sitting at a desk a glass of wine in his left hand, his right placed on the desk. He was still dressed in the finest robes, where she stood in Slytherin bottoms and a tank top without even having the time to put on shoes.

"Tom, you, I they'll notice im gone." She stuttered out, cautiously wrapping her arms around her self.

"It's only before sun rise." He said sipping his wine. "Would you like a glass?"

Conscious bit her lip before nodding as she walked over taking a seat in the chair across from him. Tom whisked his hand as a bottle floated over and begun to pour into the glass infront of her.

"It's from France."

She spun the red liquid in the glass before chugging it, Tom wasn't pleased.

"Which means it's expensive, it's meant to be savoured not chugged." He said flatly.

"Another please." She smiled brushing him off.

"Something on your mind, you hardly drink."

"Just enjoying you French wine. And it's good anyways."

"I would hope you aren't getting drunk because your around me." He muttered.

She frowned. "I enjoy my time with you."

"I know." He said as he hand poured her another glass. "I brought you here to catch up, I wish to enjoy more time with you."

She blushed faintly. "Why, Ive been gone for years, why still pick me?"

He shrugged, he didn't even know why, he just felt...connected to her, happy. And that's he's ever wanted deep down.

"We are equals dare I say, we see alike, and.. I.. you make me happy." He concluded.

She looked at her glass before nodding. "You make me happy too."
