Is he sick??? I do not know this man. " yes you" he says. " I'm sorry, but you must have me confused with someone else " I say as I turn my body towards him. " are you sure about that?" He asks as he walks towards me. I gulp as he get close to me but stops a foot away. I had not realized how tall he was until he was closer. He lifts his hand and I feel my eyes go big as my anxiety skyrockets. But thankfully he only lifted his hand to take off his mask. I look up at his face and say " yes. I'm sorry but I don't know you" I say as I turn around and smirk to myself. It's him... I hear him mumble something to himself. " oh.. um... I'm sorry... I think I did get you confused with someone else " he says. I turn to face him and I see that he's turned towards the exit. I chuckle to myself because he's embarrassed. " Market boy isn't it?" I say as I slightly smirk. He turns around with his eyes wide open. " you did remember me!!!" He says as he laughs. " Well at first no, but when you took off your face mask.. yeah" I say chuckling. He shakes his head, " I was embarrassed because I thought I confused you with a stranger " He says scratching his head. " I mean... In a way I am a stranger because you don't even know my name or anything of me " I say giving him fish lips. ( A/N: the face is like 😗)
He doesn't say anything for a few seconds. As soon as I was about to say something to part ways, he says. " have you eaten the Ramen from Book stores?" Huh??? Is This Kid asking me about Ramen?? " no I have not " I say chuckling while putting my hair behind my ear. " do you want to try it? I'll pay!" He says giving me a smiling. " I- uh um sure... but I can pay for myself " I say putting the Harry Styles vinyl down after not realizing that I had been holding onto it this entire time. " I suggested the Ramen so I get to pay " He says. I sigh and nod, we go to the Snack Shack and he orders Two ramens bowls. " just sit down at a table and we'll bring it shortly " The Girl says. " thank you" he says while slightly bowing down. We sit down in the seating area at a table, we don't say anything. It's awkwa- " this is a bit awkward" He says chuckling. " you just read my mind " I say laughing.
Our Ramen arrived and I see him pull out a pair of chopsticks out of his jacket. I stare at him weirdly, he really did that so casually?!!? " w-wha???" He says looking at me with a mouth full of Ramen. " you just pulled a pair of chopsticks out of your jacket... you're acting as if this is normal for you.... Who are you????" I say squinting my eyes at him. " this is very normal for me " he says chuckling, " I'm Jungkook, I already told you.... but You said you were technically a stranger to me so why don't you tell me things about yourself " He adds on. " oh.. okay... Um.. My name is Kim Mi-rae... I am 23 years old, I live with my aunt but I'm always at my best friend Claire's and Jennifer's house... I love music, I write and sing but I don't perform for anybody... and I had never tried Ramen from a book store until now " I say while smiling. I take a bite of the ramen and my eyes go wide. " good right??!!! " Jungkook says while smirking. " The best! Wow" I say as I take another bite. He chuckles at me. " can you sing me something " He asks, " did you not hear what I just said. I. Do. Not. Perform. For. Anybody. " I say emphasizing my words. " W-what?! Why not" he asks while pouting. " because I said so " I say shrugging. I hear him sigh which makes me chuckle. " so Jungkook... are you from around here or are you visiting? Because I know almost everyone in town and I've never seen you around here " I ask him as I finish the rest of my Ramen. " I'm visiting because I have some family here, but I'll be leaving soon because I can't stay that long " He says, " ah, makes sense. Do you have pets? Is that why you can't stay long?" I ask, he shakes his head. " no, I have to get back to my Hyungs and rehearsals " He says. "rehearsals ?? Are you a dancer?!!" I ask. " no I'm not a dancer " He say chuckling " wait... I mean I kind of am... I dance but it's not my job " he says. " then what are you?" I ask. " do you know BTS?" He asks placing his chops sticks on the table.
