"Momma!" A little girl with springy black ringlets padded down the hall. I held out my arms and scooped up the child.
"My sweet Lilly, where's your brother?" I cooed, smoothing her hair down.
Lilly shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know." Her pink lips pursed in confusion. "He's with Daddy I think."
"I have him!" I heard Cirillo call. He came around the corner carrying our son. My beautiful boy was a carbon copy of Cirillo with black hair and the brown eyes, while our daughter looked more like me.
"Are we ready?" Cirillo asked, kissing my cheek.
"I am!" Lilly squealed and clapped her little hands.
We stepped into the mirror room. "Where do we want to go?" I asked.
Cirillo winked at me. "I'm choosing this time."
I slipped my hand into his and we stepped into the mirror.
"Oh my." I said. "Holland!"
I set Lilly down and Cirillo placed Alexei down beside her. They set off towards the picnic blanket and basket, yelling for sweets.
Cririllo leaned down and kissed me. "I love you so much."
"I love you too."
