Chaper 2

SONIC'S POV

"What just happened?"
Sonic could hear Amy's voice but couldn't see her.The gang was blocked in a big underground cave.
"I don't know..
I just feel like something, or SOMEONE is hitting my head right now!"said Knuckles  with a scared voice.
"It's me, Knucks. Just making sure you're not some kind of underground person or something." Sticks stopped kicking Knuckle's head and looked like she was struggling to see the others.
Sonic yawned.He suddenly realized he was sitting on Tail's tail, so he tried to stand up.

"Ow, man."he said when he finally stood.
"Are you ok?"asked Amy. She sounded worried.
" Yeah, I just feel like my head is spinning.What about you guys?"
Tails tried to stand up.
"Ya' same here."
"Guys, I think we just falled in my own trap."said Sticks
" STICKS! I told you to stop installing random traps around the island.It's not safe anymore.. What if an innocent person falls in? What do we do in that case?"
Amy was pissed.
"BUT I STOPPED!!This one is old, I kinda forgot about it."

Sonic sighed.
"What are we gonna do? Do you have any idea 'bout how we can get out of this thing?"
"I'm not sure yet,but I'll figure it out. Just give me some time."
Sticks immediately stood up and went to examin the trap.

"I'm cold." Said Knuckles.
"Aaand tired too."

"I'll start a fire."
Tails helped Sonic find some sticks while Knuckles and Amy just watched.

"Ready!"
Sonic finally finished the fire and sat down next to Tails.The fire was cracking and warmed up the gang. Sonic clossed his eyes but something got his attention.
Amy yawned. He opened one eye and saw her curled on the ground.She was obviously cold.The fire was reflecting his flames on her innocent face while she was asleep.He couldn't help but stare at her for some minutes.The hedgehog felt like his heart was betting backwards.

"This can't be.."he thought.
"Should I actually do something?"

He kept watching. Her quills were messy, while she started shaking.This made him realize he should actually do something.
He slowly stood up and tried to remain silent.He made a big step forward and finally got next to her.First, he made sure no one was up. He waited some minutes and finally sat down.
Sonic made himself comfortable and took off his scarf and carefully placed it on Amy.Maybe that would help just a little bit more.She all of the sudden moved closer to him. He was about to run back at Tails but he realized she was just asleep.He smiled while gently running his hand through her quills.
A weird feeling caught him from inside.

"What am I doing? Why am I actually doing all of this?"
"Do I really love her?"

He stopped. This question was pretty good.

"I can't just fall for her, like..
I don't know,what if I put her in danger?
What if I need to slow down for her? What about my adventures? What about speed?"

He stopped.

"But what about her?"

She was completely gorgeous.Even in her sleep.All of the sudden he started blushing.

"Nope.I should stop it.Maybe tomorrow will be better. "

He decided to go to sleep and left his scarf at Amy. Just to warm her a 'bit, that's all.
