Chapter 11

AMY'S POV

"Hey,Knucks.Have you seen Sonic?I can't find him since when we tried to find Tails."
Amy was holding on to the door handle, hoping Knuckles had seen Sonic.She was kinda worried,because he didn't answer the phone.It's not the first time when he's missing,but that was in the past.He would always come and tell her where he's planning to go.The night  was coming,and she wasn't completely sure she should just ignore his absence.
"Haven't seen him in while.Did you ask Sticks?"
"Yes,I did..."
Amy sighed.She looked down then examined what Knuckles was doing.He was playing some video games as the usual.
"What's wrong,Amy?What's upsetting ya?"
Amy didn't want to stress Knuckles up.He didn't seem to understand the danger his friends were putted in.
"I'm just overthinking.I miss Tails and I wanted Sonic to be there too,maybe he would comfort us and try to find a way to save Tails."
Knuckles smiled.
"Come here,wanna play this game?Sonic and I played it yesterday,it's one of the best"
Amy rolled her eyes.He didn't listen to her,that's why she wished Sonic to be there.He is a calm person,and he would actually listen to your problems if you want him to.Yeah,it doesn't seem like that,because he's the fastest thing alive,but he is very calm when he wants to.
"Yeah..sorry,but I have to go.Maybe Sticks can play,ask her."
"Okay!"

Amy just entered Sonic's house.It was already dark outside,and she looked for him in the whole village.Anyone saw him or knows where he is.She went to the living room,sat down on Sonic and Tails' couch, and put her head on the table.She sighed and let a tear run down her hot cheeks.Then two more tears.She couldn't do anything,the pink hedgehog was stressed.
She cried a little bit and then raised her look and saw Sonic's communicator.She gasped and grabbed it in her arms.What was it doing here,after all?Did he just left it here so she couldn't call him?What was that for?Or..did something bad happen?First Tails,now Sonic?No,if someone would do something like that,Sonic would be the last one being rapped.There should be something else between.
She wiped her tears and tried to calm down.Why would all this stuff happen all of the sudden?And who would actually do this?So many questions..She stood and started looking around the house.Nothing.There wasn't anything that can calm her.Amy sighed and realized that she promised Sticks to come over after the sun goes down.
"Eh,Sticks can wait.I think I'm going to spend some time in there,maybe I will find something."
She went to Tail's workshop.Nothing suspicious in there.Only a book on a table,that was still opened.She couldn't help but the curiosity made her read what the book was about.It was a diary,Tail's diary.

Dear diary,
Today I did a lot of cool things,Amy and I had lunch at Meh Burger and then we decided to go to the new Museum in the village next to ours.It was so cool!I enjoyed spending time with her,she seems...different.Sonic says "people can change",but I think life made her change more than age did.
Now I'm planning on having a shower.Sonic is on the roof,he said he needs some 'more space'.I don't know what's going on with him,he is going through something.I think I'll ask him tomorrow.I'll finish this before bed time.

Amy looked surprised.Tails didn't finish the page.Something happened when Sonic was on the roof.She didn't know what..Was it why Sonic acted strange the last time they met?He was so happy before that.But,the most important thing is:What happened to Tails?
Of course he wasn't doing well.He didn't got to finish the page,so something of SOMEONE stopped him.This gave Amy a bad headache.She decided to stop reading Tail's diary,that isn't good at all.She has one too,and for sure she would get mad if someone would read it.It's her privacy.
"I should go home.I just wish Tails and Sonic are fine,and they will come back..But if they don't.."
Amy stopped.What if THEY don't come back ALIVE?What if Sonic DIES?
She tried to stop overthinking,that wasn't good for her.She decided to go back home,and sleep.Maybe she will find a way to find them..
