Chapter 3

AMY'S POV

Amy just woke up,after a very long night. The sun barely got in the cave but it seemed like it was around 8 am.
She yawned and tried to get up but something stopped her.

"What is Sonic's scarf doing here?"

She was pretty confused. Her eyes moved to Sonic,who was sleeping next to Tails and Knuckles.She notices the fire was gone.
The pink hedgehog kept the scarf in her arms. She decided to give it back to Sonic when he gets up.But she just couldn't understand why it was there.

"Anyway, I'll just wait 'till he gets up, and then we will surely get out of this thing"

"Morning, guys!"
Sticks was very exited.
"Ready to go back home?"
" 'Course I am!said Knuckles happily.
I got tired of staying in this thing called... Hmmm?"
"Trap.It's name is TRAP"said Tails kinda annoyed.
" Yeah, yeah, trapy trap, something like that.Knew it anyway. "
Tails rolled his eyes. He knew Knuckles was lying but he really didn't want to say anything else.

Amy watched her friends talk and remembered about the scarf she needed to give Sonic.She stood and made her way to him.He noticed her and looked curiously in her eyes.

"Hey, Sonic!
I just wanted to give you back this thing."

Sonic stared at her with an embarrassed look and then just tried to hide his face. We was probably blushing.

"T-thanks, but h-how did it get here?"
"I don't know, I just woke up with this thing wrapped around me."
Sonic took it and immediately stood up.

"Sticks, we need to get out of here. What's your plan?"

Amy didn't understand his reaction but tried to forget it.

"Sonic, can you try running on that wall and see how far you can go?"
He didn't answer, he just got in action.

After 1 minute he came back.
"Yeah, it's hard to get up here.But I can get out of this alone."
"Tails, try to fly up there. "

After a few minutes Tails came back.
"I can get out of here and I also have a plan.Sonic and I can go to my workshop and bring my plane here. Then I will get y'all out with it."

"Brilliant!"said Knuckles happy.

Hours flew by and Amy finally got home.Everything she could think about was the way Sonic tried to avoid talking to her. Did she actually do something wrong?Nah, nothing weird, didn't do anything embarrassing.There should something else but she wasn't sure about what it was.

"Well, if it wasn't me, I shouldn't worry. Maybe he's going through something, I'll ask him later.Now I'm going to sleep."

The pink hedgehog layed down her bed and tried to fall asleep,wanting to forget every weird though.

SONIC'S POV

"What is wrong with me?
What just happened?!
Why do I care so much about this?
I just gave her my scarf,nothing too weird. Just what a friend would do right? RIGHT?"
Sonic stopped. He was running around the island for the last hour.

"I think I'm just overthinking.Maybe if I sleep my brain will just shut up and forget about these stupid thoughts.I wish tomorrow will be better."

When he got home, he met Tails who was working on something as the usual.He wondered if he can tell Tails what he feels but decided it's better if he just shuts up. He layed down his hammock and tried to fall asleep.

"Come on, Sonic. Play it cool, as you always do. Don't let this kind of stuff ruin your day."he thought.
"Hopefully tomorrow I'll be better".
