Mallika's POV

At the hospital

"Where is my child?" Mom asked while her eyes were busy search for Sumedh

"What's the name of the patient" The receptionist asked while typing something

" Sumedh Mudgalkar" Dad answered looking here and there

"Oh, him... he is now at the O.T the ward booked for him is at the 4th floor Room no. 104" She said handling me Sumedh's mobile, his wallet, and other belongings

Listening to her confirm
ation we all rushed to the fourth floor... Dad was walking in front of the O.T just like a pendulum works... to and forth...

After a quite long time doctor came out .... We all got up tense and walked to him

"How is he now?" Dad asked in dilemma as the doctors expression were telling nothing

"He is fine... But had a lot blood loss .... And has a deep injury to head " He said and indicated me to come to his cabin

"When can we meet him" I asked before following the doctor to his cabin

"You can meet him in an hour or two .... When he gains his conscious" He said and started walking with me following him

(In the cabin)

"What's the matter, doctor... Is he really fine?" I asked the doctor worried

"Mmmmm...... He... Sorry to say but he may forget the things which happened a year ago...Because of the accident" He said out of hesitation

"What are u serious?" I asked getting up with a jerk

"Yeah" He said and I could help but go out

I went out and sat beside mom

"What happened beta what did doctor say" Dad asked me while consoling mom

"Nothing dad" I replied while a lone tear made its way down my cheek

"U are hiding something from us beta .... We can see it" Mom said holding my hand tight

"Mom... The doctor said that Sumedh will forget the thing which happened just now... Means he will forget our marriage too" I replied and broke down completely

"Beta don't worry we are always there for u .... We will try to make him remember u" They said in unison

*POV Ends*

(After two hours)

Here all are waiting for Sumedh to gain his consciousness at the same time a nurse comes running ... " Uncle ... Aunty... the patient gained his conscious back" She spoke up and our faces light up. "Can we see him" Mom questioned her back. And in return got a positive nod from her and so they all rushed to his room

*Inside the room*

All stepped inside the room with a heavy heart... but relived after seeing Sumedh in a good state of being... Mom ran to him and kissed his whole face "How are u beta" She questioned examining him from top to bottom. " I am fine mom don't be tensed dude" He replied calmly. "Who is she" He questioned looking at Mallika. "She is the daughter of my friend and will stay with us from now" Mom and dad replied him and winked at Mallika ...

Mallika's POV

They both winked at me stating that everything will be alright and they will take care of the situation.... but I couldn't handle it anymore and so took a leave from them... I rushed the idol of Shree Krishna at the entrance of the hospital... I was sitting there crying when someone tapped on my shoulder and so I turned around... She made me stand up and wiped my tears... She was a girl with long hair... was wearing a Punjabi dress with some jewelry like- a gold chain, mangalsutra, two rings, a nose ring, and a pearl necklace... She was looking deep into my eyes and in return consoling just with an eye talk which we both we sharing for quite some time...
