Sumedh's POV

"I shouldn't have said like this, she will be badly hurt by my statement" I regretted

I hurt my love.  I am an idiot I would have share things with her. I was seriously not in a good state of mind since morning. She had asked me being concerned. I need to talk to her or else this matter will cause a great misunderstanding between us. I need her right now. In my embrace. "I am really sorry love for my statement today," I said looking at her photo placed on my office table. 

"Say sorry to a living being and not to a photo" I heard her say 

"Illusion" I murmured 

I again turned my gaze to the photo- frame of hers. But then I felt someone caressing my hair. I looked up to find her standing there and smiling gladly. I turned my chair to her side and hugged her waist tightly not letting her move even a bit. In no time I drenched her kurta with my tears which were flowing uncontrollably. She was caressing my hair with all love she had towards me trying to calm me down. 

"Shh!! Chill Sumi, stop crying" She said 

" I... I am sorry " I blurted 

"Shh!! first, stop crying I can't see my man crying like this'' She ordered and soon my cries turned into small sobs. 

I looked at her with pleading eyes asking her for sorrow. 

"Dont look at me like this, first tell me the matter then only I will think whether to forgive u or not," She said with full attitude 

I got up and was about to back hug her when someone knocked on the door. I got back and settled on the couch in my cabinet.

"Come in" I ordered

The door opened revealing the most unexpected person. Why the hell is he here now. How is she gonna react?  She was standing near the window looking outside the window. I couldn't believe my eyes that he was here 

"Mikku Baby, how are u " He asked 

Mallika's POV 

From when did Sumedh start calling me baby, and why the hell is he asking me how I am. I turned back with an annoyed pout. But the face which came in front of me made me go weak at my knees and tears flow down my eyes. I walked to Sumedh who was sitting on the couch. He got up looking at me. But my bad luck I didn't reach him and was pulled by Katty. He hugged me tightly which made me most uncomfortable. I got out of his grip with lots of difficulties. I went to Sumedh who was looking hell angry. 

"Oh Mr. Mudgalkar u are still alive" Katty smirked 

"What the hell do u mean" I yelled 

"Oh darling didn't he tell u" He acted 

"Sumedh what is he talking of," I asked 

"Will tell u later," Sumedh said 

"Oh don't worry I am going, for now, will meet u soon," He said waving his hand as well as  smirking 

I looked at Sumedh who was burning in anger and asked "What was he talking about" 

"He was the one who caused my accident one year ago" He hesitated 

"What the hell" I screamed anger rushed through my body resulting in me punching the wall and then my hand bleeding. 

He came to me and took my hand in his looking at me with concern I jerked my handoff from his grip and looked directly into his eyes

"Sumedh why did u say that line at the beach today," I asked plainly

"Jaan I had a nightmare yesterday, the thing which I saw made me upset and so I didn't know what I was speaking or doing in the morning" He cried.

"What did u see" I also breaking the eye lock

"I saw that u left me and went to Katty again," He said and burst out

"Sumedh are u seriously doubting me," I asked shocked.

"I am not doubting I was a bit insecure as well as upset," He said pulling me on his lap.

He cupped my cheek and said " Pls forgive me for the words I said "

I looked at his puppy eyes and couldn't resist anymore. "Forgiven," I said and he squealed 

I was looking deep into his eyes which were filled with guilt. I wiped off his tears and kissed his forehead. His hands were busy drawing unknown patterns on my waist. We were indeed sharing a great and deep eyelock right now. But it was broken by Sumedh's phone which beeped. 

I got up and brought the cell and gave him. He again pulled me in his lap and answered the call. It was from Mom. He declined the call grinning as well as smirking making me confuse. 

"Mallika our engagement and marriage dates are preponed," He said jumping 

"When, How, Why" 

"When- 16th July Engagement and Wedding 16th August
How- As it takes place of other
Why- Because Mom and Dad are leaving India for some business work on 18th August and we don't know when they will return" He said making me shock 

"U will be official mine in just two months" He smirked 

I could feel my cheeks heat the second he said the last sentence. "Sumedh," I said hitting him playfully 

I got up from his lap and said "Bye! I am leaving I have lots of works to do" "Meet u soon love" He said waving his hand. 

I walked out of his cabinet and went to dad I took his blessings and left the office as early as I can. At last, I have projects to complete.
