Sumedh's POV

Are yaar! Where is she? I have not seen her since the time we returned from the hospital yesterday. What's the matter, man. Tunisha and Sanskruti are busy banging the door for a long. But she isn't opening it. It's making me tensed now.

"Kaki, she is not opening the door" Sanskruti mentioned.

Mom rushed to the table kept at the entrance. And opened the box which had the keys to every room of our house. She took out the one which was needed and went upstairs. She opened the door and we were amazed to see no one in the room. I felt that she may be on the balcony and so I went there. But for shock, she wasn't there too. But I found a note there. I picked it up and made my way in. I opened the chit and found a note

"Hi! Hope u all will move on from me. I am going somewhere away from u all. Will never disturb anyone of u in the whole lifetime. The love and care which u all gave me left me overwhelmed. Mom, Dad take care and don't forget to take it medicines from time to time. Sanskruti, Tunisha thanks for being my support in my bad times. I am amazed to have friends like u. Take care. And at last Sumedh, always stay happy, may u will ur life with lots of happiness and great people around. Love u all. Last Byee"

"My girl left me" Mom broke down in tears.

"Reema, we will find her. Dont cry" Dad said consoling her

I didn't bother to say anything. I was feeling as if I lost my soul. She left me but why. What did I do to her? Will I never meet her? How is she now? Where is she now?

I was standing there numb. Tears were brimming in my eyes, my vision was becoming blur with the going time. I am missing her. How am I gonna live without her? Mikku why did u leave me. I never thought that I will lose u.

She left me. I was planning to propose to her in the coming week. But she didn't even wait for my confession.

I couldn't control it anymore and so ran to my room. I closed the door and threw myself in the bed's embrace. I cried a lot and no one too disturbed me. As they knew that my condition now would be worst. I cried a lot for the whole day. I skipped my meals. Nothing mattered to me I just wanted my Mallika. I need her warmth, Her soothing words. I just want her and nothing else. I want to cuddle her. Tell me my feelings. Listen to her. Watch a movie with her. I can't tell u what she means to me. I was deep in my thoughts when sleep embraced me in its embrace.

It's the next day I woke up with swollen eyes due to constant crying yesterday. I got up with lots of effort and made my way to the restroom. I freshen up and came out with red eyes, a sad face, and a helpless soul.

The mornings aren't the same,
without your voice and your smile.
But when I think of you it helps for a little while,
The days drag on,
and I'm fed up,
but time is moving fast.
The nights feel hollow and wasted,
without your lovely presence,
I don't want to live in a state of perpetual evanescence.

Sanskruti's POV

"Tuni, woh kaha hogi"

"Idk" Tunisha answered

"I think we should talk to Sumedh and help him come out of all this" Sanskruti mentioned

"Yeah u are right"

And we got up from the couch. We banged his door and he opened it after some time. I could see that his condition was miserable. I know Mallika will be in the same state of mind but I can't console her now. But what was the reason for leaving? I know she meant a lot to him. Her presence matter to each one of us. She had become our lifeline in the course of time.

We entered the room and stood blank in front of him. We didn't know where to start and where to stop. There was an awkward silence. The silence spoke more than anything. I could see Sumedh was totally broken.

"Sumedh how are u now" Tunisha said breaking the silence

" I... I am fine"

"We wish to know your true state and not the fake one" I said widening my eyes

He looked down in sorrow and started

"Did u all know about all this"

"No" We said, what else could we answer

"I want her" He ordered

" Sumedh she ain't a toy that u tell and we buy" Tunisha said trying to make him understand

"She ain't a toy but she is mine, she promised me that she won't leave me" He complained

"Sumedh try to understand man" I pleaded

"Nope" He huffed

"Sumedh u should at least fulfill her wish" Tuni ordered while he looked at her confused

"She wrote in the note that she wishes that we all should move on, I know we can, But she wants u to be happy and for that u should try forgetting her a bit" Tuni said

"But"

"No buts u are starting a new life for tomorrow " I ordered

"She" He said but was cut by me

" She will always be in our heart, especially ur, she will be the one to correct u if u go wrong, the one to talk to u when u feel lonely, She will be there with u in each action of ur"

"Guys, u know what u both are talking about as if she is no more," He said angrily.

"Sumedh its not like that" I said

"See, Sumi maybe u will me her once again and she will be happy to see u happy and changed. Maybe she will return if she finds u changed" Tuni said and he smiled dreaming all the if's

" I will change as per my jaan's order," He said smiling widely while we sighed.
